[QUOTE]MP I sound like your dog.  Where we live we have one parking spot (loving awesome FI lets me have it) and it rains all the time here so it floods on each side.  Since it's usually just me driving I park as close as I can to the right because it slops up to where the grass is, making it easy for me to not get wet.  I'm a pansy. ETA: Ricksang you are nicer than me.  I don't understand the whole needing someone else to eat healthy with you.  Obviously it'd be tough to work at McDs if you loved fries, but come on.  If I want something greasy I get it because like you said, I generally eat really healthy!

I know, right? But, I will say I volunteered and she didn't ask. I have a problem with volunteering for stuff I actually don't want to do.

I love the look of button down shirts, but I can't wear them, since my boobs are too big.

I realize I've had two posts about my boobs in this one thread.

I need to buy jeans. I only have one pair that isn't all worn to shreds.

I know how you ladies feel about the size thing.  I'm in a 1 but if I don't wear a belt it sucks and I do have curves, they're just proportionate to the rest of me.

<div>Me, too. I've lost a little bit of weight, and my one pair of jeans is hanging off of me. I hate belts, though, since the buckle always seems to dig into some squishy part of me. </div>

<div>Can you buy for your boobs and then get the waist tailored?</div><div>
</div><div>Gap has arrived in Chile, which is awesome, but everything's more expensive here. I need new jeans since mine ripped, and I like the fit of a pair I tried on at Gap more than any others I've seen here, but they're $40 more than they would be in the US. #firstworldproblemsinasecondworldcountry</div>
  • Special, with you on the button down thing.  Sometimes the buttons just hit in weird spots, too.

Ricks, I've had issues with food for years, and when I was severely limiting myself with healthy vs. not healthy (and binging when no one was looking), I would be a real sour puss if my family wanted something to eat that wouldn't allow me to stay on track.  It's such a hard thing to balance.  That being said, I think it's great that you are supporting her efforts to eat healthy.
  • Gap jeans don't fit me.  They are either too big or they are too small in the hips.
  • SK, I have the same problem.  I just wear them anyway- with the top three or so buttons undone with a cami underneath.
  • Ricks I would get a nice salad, and a burger on the side, of course.

MUNI wait, so being size zero doesn't automatically make one emaciated? Does that mean that people who are size 8 can be thin? Mind, blown.

Except not really because women's sizes aren't cut and dry like mens sizes. They should really think about doing that.
  • Mica, I always get the long and lean from gap.  I have really small hips, so jeans don't like to stay up, but these look good and give me a bit of curve that I don't have in my lower half.

  • Mica, my problem is the opposite - the average Chilean build has wider hips than I do, so most Chilean jeans are tight in the thighs and gaping in the hips. Hence the appeal of spending $100 on Gap jeans :/

<div>Yeah, see I have one pair that still fit me when I gained a bunch of weight, but by the time I lost most of it, I had actually rubbed holes in the thighs >.> </div>
  • yeah, no kidding mind blown.  size 0 girls can be fat too.  I'm a pretty fat skinny girl.
  • My favorite jeans are from Buckle. They were pretty expensive but they fit me perfectly! I have worn them to pieces. I need new jeans.
  • Mica, it's not letting me quote you (or anyone) but I only have one pair of pants that fit waist, length, and legs (not tight, but not baggy).  It's from the Gap.  Most of my Gap pants drag on the floor though.
  • Oh man that would be great Megbo.  It's so frustrating going to each store and having a different size fit, or not fit which is often my case.
  • Meg, gap are too long for me. My inseam is 29'. I find that as "junior" as they are, Charlotte Russe pants fit me perfectly.
  • I admit I haven't tried on jeans at the Gap in years.  After I realized that Earl and 7 for all Mankind jeans fit perfectly, I haven't tried Gap again.

I wouldn't call myself super curvy, but for some reason, I find that most of the mainstream places assume that someone with my waistline has no butt or hips.  Oh, and super twiggy thighs.
  • I have one, FI is at home really sick with a high fever, he called since he knows things are slow at work right now and asked me to bring him some soup. FI is the type that he NEVER asks for anything when he isn't feeling well so I know for him to call he's really feeling bad. We don't live that far away, so I told my boss I would be back soon and work late tonight.

Well when I get back one of my Co-Workers (That I already don't like) says, "Ugh what's wrong with you? He's a big boy, you're just enabling him. Let him fend for himself. You are going to ruin your marriage and career you should be thinking of how running off to his beck and call makes you look."

Geez I bought him a couple cans of Chicken Noodle.

  • MUNI you aren't fat, and I definitely didn't mean it like that.

Ricks I also think it's great you are being so supportive.  Mainly I just hate spending money on food I don't REALLY REALLY want.  Which is why I never try anything new because if I do, and I hate it, it feels like such a waste.
  • Emily, I did that once, but it ended up being a big hassel. I don't think my chest is particularly massive, but I end up having to buy a button down four or five sizes larger than a pullover shirt in order to make the buttons stay closed. I've also tried the tape stuff.
  • Oh, and my Gap jeans drama is due to that fact that they have apparently stopped making my favorite jeans ever - Chip & Pepper "Olivia." A Google search makes me think Chip & Pepper just doesn't exist anymore, and I can't find them in my size anywhere, even eBay. This was honestly upsetting for several days. I realize that's a little pathetic.
  • Oh, pant length, the other bane of my existence.  Everything is either too short or too big.  I have disproportionately long legs, but the tall stuff has too big of a torso for me.

Yup, more first world problems for me.
  • Special, I think button down shirts are made for AA cups. My boobs are really not that large, and even so I have to get the waists taken in on most button downs.

I agree.  My A/B cups are bursting out of a bunch of my button downs that otherwise fit my waist.
