So I sent out my save the dates last Tuesday, hadn't heard much from anyone so I decided to ask around to one person from each "area". My one friend never got hers and I'm waiting for her to verify that the address she had given me was correct... In the mean time, I asked another person out her way.. She was one of the vets I worked with at my last job, she was my favorite person there and I loved her like a mother after all she has a daughter my age. Turns out she has already scheduled her 25 year anniversary cruise.. which happens to fall on my wedding day.. I'm super crushed and don't know how to handle my feelings.. I was more excited to see her than the majority of our guests.. It's been two years since I've moved/seen her... Anyone else experiencing this?

    Aww that sucks. I haven't had this happen to me yet, but I'm sure it's bound to.

    Very few of the guests attending my wedding are my friends/family because they're all OOT and they came to my first wedding, so I told them I understood if they did not want to come to come to the second also.  Of my 8 OOT family members, 4 might actually not be able to come, specifically my brother from Seattle and my Aunt from South Carolina. Though I would completely understand if they couldnt come, I'd be devastated.

    We're already expecting that my relatives that live in Germany won't be able to make it and there's the possibility that my cousin and her family won't be able to make it since her baby will still be REALLY young and may not want to travel with 2 little kids. Life goes on and stuff always happens :-)

    I agree with that.. She only lives 2 hours away.. I know things happen and not everyone will be able to make it.. I guess it's just the reality since it's the first person that said that, and to top it off she's one of the few people I was stoked to have there... I'll be sure to give her address to my girls for the bridal shower at least
