  Thanks for the compliments  Yes, Capri was right.  I did have it made - the dress and the jacket.  I knew I wanted a jacket to wear in the church and for the outside pictures, but I also wanted an evening gown for the reception.  

  
  

  I looked, but I could never seem to find a dress with a matching jacket that a) wasn't a bolero and b) was made of a high-quality fabric.  Maybe I didn't look hard enough though, because I'm sure there's something like that out there...

  
  

  So I had the whole thing made.  I worked with a very talented seamstress.  She did it all from scratch - no patterns.  I'm still amazed by that.

  
  

  I think some people thought I was crazy when I described what I was having made.  No seemed very sold on the idea of my jacket...  Even my wedding planner was a little concerned  When they saw me, however, everyone said, "that's so you."  And it was.
