It's Friday! Thank goodness for that...
It appears that having a stupid job is getting in the way of my keeping up with SB events...people got BANNED yesterday? Wow...if someone does post a FFF here (really? would that happen?) then maybe someone can explain to me exactly how it started because I get the feeling posts that might explain that were deleted? Sigh...I have to go get ready to go to work now!
I have a baby shower to go to tomorrow (not mine!)...it is like an hour and a half from where I live. I am not thrilled. But I love the mom-to-be.
What you all you horrible girls have planned for this weekend? Horribly, bitchy things I am sure!

Re: Good Morning!
I think Rick's post somewhere below contains a summary. It's no where near as exciting as banning suggests, though.
This weekend is my 1 year wedding anniversary! Tomorrow is sat, so H and I shall head out to the country town where we held the wedding, visit a favourite winery of ours and then head to the restaurant where we had our reception for dinner. We're staying in the honeymoon suite and then having breakfast at the restaurant in the morning for our anniversary itself... fun!
Meanwhile, right now it's friday night and I'm somewhat tipsy and super tired! I hope your Friday is good!
I had off yesterday, so I slept in, which wrecked my sleep pattern again. I was up so late and then had to get up at 5:30. Ugh. So it will be a sleepy day. Thankfully, we have a pep rally in the afternoon, so I'll miss one of my classes.
FI has to work this weekend, so I'm going to get ahead with some grad work (fascinating! :P) and grading. I'm hoping for an interesting Knot day, since I'll be knotting during my free period and pep rally. Woohoo to organized school events that I usually hate!
ETA: Happy anniversary, Sun!
I made a bio?!?
I'm sad that I missed all of the drama yesterday. And I don't understand all of the little animals. I feel so out of the loop.
Happy Friday!
little animals? I have clearly missed something.
Thank you my dear Cew! I hope you have a fantastic Friday!
Thank you dear!
PS: I haven't seen you around in ages! How is everything?

Have a great day, everyone!
$86 sounds like a great rate, and the distance is not too far.
The drama was not really all that dramatic. Some stupid Mod "accidentally" banned me and within an hour KA unbanned me.
In the midst of that we found out that Anna.Oskar had been banned by that crazy Favors Mod and she was also unbanned.

And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. Because trust me when I tell you honey, they're gonna need it. ~jcaruncho2010

I'm very happy it's friday. I've got a full body massage booked for tomorrow and man I need it.
number, I'd say your plan sounds fine for the hotels. We blocked rooms at the closest hotel to our venue (it was, like, 2.5 km away) and a ton of people stayed there, but they were mostly the Peterborough/Ottawa/London/Stratford crowd (who like to party). The Oshawa people nearly all went home. The only crappy thing was they someone (I think my mom and stepdad?) decided the afterparty should be in our room. Which meant we didn't get to sleep until around 5am.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Yeah, it really wasn't as exciting yesterday as it should have been. I think there is just some weird mod drama going around the knot.
So glad it's Friday! My family is coming into town tomorrow morning, we have a meeting with the cake guy, and then I have my hair and make-up trial on Sunday. We're hoping to start getting back some RSVPs, too. So it's pretty much a wedding-filled life for the next two months.
Another WR comment- I had my first wedding dream last night. Thankfully nothing when crazy horribly wrong either.

Happy Anniversary Sun, if you are still here.
Rach- so good to see you. You know we are having a GTG in Toledo in a few weeks. We wish you were still here.
Today I am off early, so I have a pedi scheduled for 3pm. But I'm toying with the idea of a massage myself Raynes. After the wreck my back has been hurting. DH just said it was a good excuse. He is still gone till Sunday, so I have to do some shopping, I have no clothes!
So big fail this morning. My mom works in the building next to mine, so sometimes I see her on the way to or from work. This morning I was behind a green station wagon that looked just like hers. I pulled up next to her and started making faces. Yeah, not my mom. Some guy. I was so embarrassed.
DH and I are going to the beach this weekend. We haven't been all year. I don't think we went last year, either.

He probably thought you were crazy, but don't worry you'll most likely never see him again and if you do you won't be making weird faces so he won't recognize you :)

[QUOTE]k ladies, I have a WR question for you in the morning thread... The closest hotel to our venue is 10km away (so like 6 miles) and costs $86 with taxes for a room with queen. -- does this seem reasonable? On our website we had some motels listed and a friend of FILs went to check them out and apparently they are BRUTAL so we took them off the website. We have 6 hotels listed but we never got blocks because most people live only an hour out and we didn't know how many people would actually get accommodations. The wedding is 5 weeks away...do I get a block now, or do I just list the options on the website and let people figure out which one they want. Bleh...I hate wedding planning sometimes. Mostly when I have volleyball tryouts in 5 minutes and then a full day teaching and then an evening of running WR errands...in never effing ends (well, technically in about 5 weeks the wedding will be done...:))

OMG - I am so jealous...yeah that is reasonable.
Our hotels (working on blocks right now) are insane. Thank you Green Bay and the Packers. My venue is $149.99/night they have to book by APRIL to get that discount and only pay on night - after April they have to pay two nights min at an even higher price....other venues in the area are almost higher....

This made me laugh out loud this morning. So something I have done. Makes you want to slink under the seat.

[QUOTE]kd, do it!! Mine is my reward for finishing the weight lifting program I've been on since January. My poor, new-ish muscles are very very tight. I'd say a wreck is a good reason (not excuse, mind you) to get a massage.

Well DH just bought me one I used about a month ago. He's my "pusher man" for massages. I usually just whine a lot, and I end up with a gift card. I love my new masseuse, she is wonderful.
But before DH left on hi "guy" trip, he gave me his CC to get a pedi, so I feel I'd need to pay for the massage myself.
Happy anniversary, Sun!
My brother is home for now, and is in much better spirits, so that is GREAT. Also, his doc suggested we just go forward with everything as normal. So I am getting married next Saturday. I can't believe it.
This weekend I'm going to a redneck wedding celebration. it should be hilarious.

Yay! I can't believe your wedding is next week!
Raynes, thanks a lot for your message. It meant a lot to me. I seriously brought up the loud music option to him. He seems cautiously curious. BTW, congrats for finishing NROWL4W! You DESERVE that massage, lady!
I'm stalking weather reports now. Looks like rain
