  I would just call the families with kids and let them know about a kids option. Having that on your RSVP might indicate to some families that kids are invited, even if you aren't inviting that person's kids, if that makes sense. 

  
  

  We had about 7 kids at our wedding, and just called the families to ask - it took no time at all, and we had no confusion on the RSVPs.

  We have A LOT of children invited to our wedding...probably 30 plus! I dont think there are any families that their children are not invited.
