It always is! The newspeople talk it up like it's going to be this huge thing and people will be stranded in their homes for DAYS and you should go buy a generator NOW and get tons of canned goods and bottled water because THE SHIIT IS HITTING THE FAN.

And then it's just a large snowstorm. Most places close for a day. Life gets back to normal the day after. NBD.

schools cancelled. stores run out of milk, eggs, bread, toilet paper, and beer. people freak out SO MUCH.
