I am a little unsure because their prices are AMAZING.....eeek!

    they have only one review in chicago on yelp and their prices are too good to be true. maybe they are great who knows. i took a course called special topics in marketing when i was in undergrad and remember the saying if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. though i don't have $50,000 to spend on my wedding like some lucky brides, i was also sure to not use the bottom of the barrel companies unless they had dozens of great testimonials. i can't imagine how you can get photos and a video for $595 and have it be done by a professional. if they were that good wouldn't they cost more?

    So, my sister researched them for her wedding. The thing is, the very lowest price is for a "traditional" photographer. So if you are cool with only posed pictures, that is what that price is. Also, I have heard the reason they are low is because photographers all go here to print their photos or something. You do get to pick your photographer, but you won't know their name until you sign the contract. I think the more "photojournalistic" photogs are pretty comparable with some of the lower priced, but reputable photogs you see out there. Like around 1500ish. That's all I know:)

    I was looking at their pictures online, and they are really posed. I guess it didn't click until now, I was hoping that they had more pictures, maybe just not on the website.

    Do you mind if I ask who you guys are using? I do have another company in mind, but would like some referrals :))

    I think that wedding planning just kinda hit me. Like, it's one day that you will never have again. Freaking out because I want everything as perfect as it can be.

    My sister did end up going there and choosing one of their photojournalistic photographers. I can find out her name. I think they are just like a staffing mechanism for local Chicago photographers. I don't think their website shows the individual portfolios. Anyway, I am using Brian Kinyon, who is great.
