The blue is killing me. It makes me depressed and reminds me of a winter wedding. Blue, silver, and white, to me, is wintery. I want pink. Well more of a blush or dusty rose pink with oh say some green and ivory...that sounds and looks awesome. FI could wear green since he is so against wearing pink.
Oh I don't know. I just feel like I'm going crazy or something. None of the plans for this wedding are me. They just don't suit me. I feel like I'm been trying to please my family as well a matron BM who is like a second mother to FI. Her ideas for this wedding are more of a classy grand event and that's just not me. She is more heels, and I'm more boots. She's planning big vases and all I want is mason jars. She's not pushy with it, so this is all my fault and I own that.
Sorry...I just had to get that out
Re: I think I am about to change colors again
Talk to your FI - If he is dead set on blue then talk to him about adding another color. I have seen a few weddings that used Navy in the summer but offset the dark blue with orange, bright green, or hot pink. You're wedding should be about you and your FI.

^^^^^These colors.
My FI will talk to me about wedding stuff but his answers are all pretty brief. He has gotten really weird about the whole baby thing though saying things like "it's going to be so funny when you have a baby in your belly". I am so not ready for that haha!
MrsKaiser - Your FI wants a comedian during your reception?! How are you handling that one?

@MrsK- I would choke FI if he even mentioned a comedian. Thats just kinda odd. Like seriously, that warrents a man junk punch lol...well maybe not...but you get what I mean lol.
My dad is the only one on board with my ideas. My mother says its "too different"...since when is mason jars "different"? My sister had flippin hay bales as her seats at her wedding and they were fine with that. I, personally, would consider mason jars one step up from hay bales, thank you very much.
I feel like I've pinned so many new ideas for this wedding and I'm actually feeling more confident in it. At first I did like the blue. I loved the color. But then I couldn't really tie in the stuff I wanted with it...so I kinda got tired with it...
Klyn and MrsK - I am so glad my fiance hasn't seen/suggested anything like that! I am also more glad that FIs don't have boards like this where they can all collaborate on their terrible ideas! haha. So far the only person I have throwing ideas my way is my FMIL. She wants us to have a shrimp dish at the wedding when I am severely allergic to shellfish!
Sugar - My FI is going to be 27 and I just turned 28. I keep telling him I want to wait until I'm 30 or 31 to have kids. I work with adults with intellectual disabilities alllll day I don't want to have to go home and take care of more people (YET).
I have pinned so many mason jar ideas for my best friend's wedding that I wish I could use for my own! I like those different unique touches. I'm glad you are feeling more confident!

@MrsK, I was eating a Hershey kiss when I got to your post about the comedian and I nearly choked because I was laughing so hard.
And Sugar, I love the pink and green color combo...I was actually considering it for my wedding. And mason jars are a cute idea and I think they'd go better with the vibe you're going for.
Don't feel bad about the reaction you're getting from your fiance. I get the sigh, and the eye roll, and all that jazz about "why do we always have to talk about wedding stuff?". But I really don't think most guys realize how much planning goes into something like a wedding. I do my best to keep my fiance in the loop as to what ideas I've had, and I ask him if he has any, but he just says off the wall stuff to amuse himself...like how he suggested that the bridal party walks in to "Get Low" by Lil Jon at the reception. Seriously. Although after reading MrsK's post, I guess I should just be happy he's not pushing for a comedian!!

In terms of babies- geez your FI is still super young! I HATE when people ask me when we plan on having kids. Uh I am 24 and want to enjoy my 20s and babies are not on my radar. Thats what I tell people. Luckily, our parents are super cool and not the ones who have made comments to us. We will most likely wait until I am between 28-30, and FI will be 33-35.
