votive candles?

I heard of a few people passing things along to the next bride and on and on and on....on this board.

I need votives for my May wedding.  If someone has some or knows where to purchase please let me know

If no one has any to sell, I saw some at Michael's it was six votive candles and holders for $6 but if you use a coupon they would be cheaper.

IKEA has big bags of the tea candles for pretty cheap.  Be sure that your venue allows candles.  Sometimes they don't, or sometimes you have be sure to have them in tall candle holders.

I would check craigslist too and I thought I saw some for sale in one of the bio's in the For Sale thread but I haven't looked lately to see if they are still available.

The best price I found was Walmart - 12 votives and candles for $6.  Color options are limited though.  The frosted holders and colored votives from candles4less look really nice!

I tend to agree with hkiesling: IKEA usually has amazing deals on candles. If you're willing to settle for tea candles, they sell them in packs of 100 for something like 5 bucks.

they only thing is that they were unscented. I was dead set on having a aroma in the room. I forgot to by oils to put in the candles.... but it turned out perfect.

I bought 144 candles w/holders from www.cudge.net for $35 + shipping.  Best deal I found.  I will be selling the holders after July 1st (a friend is popping out the used candles and using her own in late June).

side not on Candles for Less- I bought the clear rounded votive holders and was very unimpressed with the quality. Not that it matters too much for using at a reception but I didn't like how thick the bases were and the ridge all of them had at the top of the glass. I ended up going to Pier 1 and paying a dollar a votive holder and getting some clearanced out candles :) Much happier with them!
