Dress shops that let you browse on your own?

Hi,
I am looking for dress shops that will let you browse on your own in the metro north west area (I live in Shirley) or southern NH. My sister and mom are coming to town and we want to look at dresses for my sister-- the catch is that she lives in Philly and is getting married in Nov...so we would only be looking for style or buying off the rack. I know some places will let you browse and try on dresses on your own, but I'm not sure where to go!
Thanks!

These are probably out of your area but Cristina's in Andover, MA and Bella Sera in Danvers, MA both let you look through their dresses.

Try Modern Bride in Bedford... I went there with a friend of mine and we were both looking of wedding dresses. I said I wanted a halter style and they said they had one... and told me to look around on my own. It was not helpful! My friend needed something right away and they didn't help her either. When we wanted to try a few on they gave them to us and we were pretty much on our own. They didn't help us put them on, lace them up, or even hang them back up. I wasn't impressed and wouldn't buy from them. I got my dress at Marry and Tux... (see my previous post) and they were great- but they helped me every step of the way including getting the dress on and off. I also found Davids Bridal very helpful in that department too. But if you're not looking for that give modern bride a try.

Thx, Modern Bride looks like it might fit the bill!

It may be a long way away, but country bridal in Jaffery also lets you freely browse.  In my case this wasn't as helpful, I could have used their knowledge a little more, but if that is what you are looking for they do it.
