  Borrow! Moms, aunts, grandmothers, etc. usually have really nice stuff that has history and meaning behind it and vintage is always chic.

  Ditto on borrowing.
  
  DH gave me diamond and pearl earrings for my birthday that was 3 months before the wedding and I wore my mother's pearls as my 'something borrowed'.
  
  It all depends on your overall style but I like classic pieces anyway so getting something trendy was really NMS.

  i got my jewelry from a girl i went to HS with on etsy - she will make custom jewelry or you can pick from her already beautiful designs - and 10% off for bridal jewelry - everything is already priced reasonably

  I love the Nardi line of jewlery, which can be found at Macy's as well.

  I found the headband (not a tiara, but a nice sparkley rhinestoney headband) at a bridal shop, then searched it on Ebay and got it at a much better price. I'm borrowing my mom's blue sapphire ring (old, borrowed, blue) that my dad have given her when he came back from Viet Nam, my sister bought me some earrings from Macys, my veil I also got from ebay ($19! instead of the $200 they wanted at the bridal salon) and I'm probably borrowing a diamond bracelet from my mom or my gram. There was TONS of stuff on Etsy I loved.

  I ended up getting earrings and a necklace from Silver Moon in Madison. I just needed to be able to try it on in purpose. They were so nice to work with.

  I found my earrings and bracelet at Macy's and JCPenney 3 days before my wedding.  I had looked online and in stores for months and couldn't find anything that I loved.  Luckily, I found something decent just before the wedding!

  Etsy all the way!! I ordered my "something blue" bridal earrings from Le Collezione and got my bridesmaids earrings on there too from Ann's Crafts (she is based in CT).  Good luck!
