Re: Help need reception venue

  • Hopefully MarieSD will chime in as she knows all the Ft. Worth venues.  She is usually on at the end of the day.  All I know is Bass Hall would have been my dream venue if I got married in Ft. Worth.  There's also the Modern Art Museum.  But I don't know where these are located in relation to the gardens (which are so beautiful BTW--good choice!)
  • Stephie, the MOMA is very close to the Botanical Gardens, so that would be a good choice...but when I was looking into it I know it was going to be pretty pricey. I think they may have food and beverage minimums and/or make you use their catering services.

Tashanna, do you have a budget? I looked at tons of Fort Worth venues, but they all have such varying price points. The most affordable one that comes to mind is the T&P Station. It's such a pretty, open space, and it will definitely fit 150.

  • Try the Ft. Worth YWCA - I don't know about their liquor policy but they only cost $1500

I believe the YWCA lets you bring in your own liquor, as does the T&P and they're both way under your budget! :)

  • Artspace 111 isn't too far either. Also budget friendly.

Recently someone mentioned the Botanic Research of Texas, and the space looks incredible. I am not sure on their catering policies though or pricing. http://www.brit.org/about/rental
