Any Bayfield Brides?

Hey all! I'm getting married in 101 short days on the shores of lovely Lake Superior!
I was just wondering if anyone is from the area or getting married there as well?

Unfortunately I'm not getting married there, but just though I'd say hi! I went to Northland so I'm very familiar with the area and miss it a ton. I took FI up there for the first time last winter and we had a blast! Where are you getting married/having the reception?

HAHA! We are getting married in the park right on the lake and reception at the Pavillion. I love the area and FI is actually from there :)

OH, I recognize the picture now! Very cool. You'll get some great pics down there! What a great area for your OOT guests to visit too--there's really so much to do and it's so beautiful.
    I'm jealous! :)

Not a current bride, but I got married there in September. It was perfect!

Very nice! Did you have your reception catered? If so, who did you use to cater?

We got married at Le Chateau Boutin and our reception was at the pavilion and catered by the Rittenhouse.

Our reception will be at the pavillion as well, we just don't know who is catering it yet.

A couple places I would suggest looking into:
Good Thyme (we had our rehearsal dinner here, it was fabulous)
Ethel's at 250 (we ordered pizzas for our late night snack)
Pier Plaza Restaurant (they are directly across the street)

Your best bet will be to make a lot of calls to see who does catering offsite. Other things you need to think about are the dinnerware, drinkware and silverware.

Please PM me if you have any questions.
