  As for makeup, I went with Makeup by Shana - I don't know if she deals with many Af-Am's, but I see she does deal with darker skin tones a lot such as Indian and other Asians. She got really high reviews on Yelp: http://www.makeupandskinbyshana.com/1950914.html

  This make up artist is also known as the make up girl she did my make up as a bridesmaid and will be doing mine as a bride this summer. She also has been awarded brides choice. Good luck
