What are you doing for your b-lette party?

I'm starting to think about what to do for my bachelorette party and my MOH is asking for ideas. So, I'm wondering what everyone is doing/did? Ae you staying local or making it a destination?

Well, the details are a surprise, but we're renting a super swanky suite in NYC for a weekend. I've just been told to have a really dressy cocktail dress, so I think we're going to some nice clubs/lounges, probably some shopping, and the hotel has a pool.

Also, two of my BMs are OOT and short on cash, so we are all meeting up for a Tom Petty concert in August as sort of a post bachelorette. AND my two cousins are not quite 21, so my aunts are setting up a little dinner someplace fun so they feel included. So i really have 3 bachelorettes.

I wanted to go to Key West for my Bachelorette but its financially not realistic for my girls so now we are thinking of spending a night down in Ptown for some bar hopping and fun

We are driving down to Atlantic city! The hotels are super cheap and we figure it's a great excuse to have some girl time and a road trip! Leaving on Thursday and coming back on Sunday. Spend the day on the beach and the nights in the casinos!

I went to New Orleans with my girls for a long weekend - we got great flight and hotel deals which made it easier to take a trip for lots of them - but we also did a bachelorette dinner in Boston for those that couldn't make the trip too. I had a blast at both!

We are going to Portland, ME for the weekend. Lot's of fun bars and restaurants, some good shopping and it's less than 2 hours by train from Boston (where most of us live). It's probably not a great destination for people who really want a fancy night out on the town, but it's great if you want a more laid-back weekend away.

My girls took me overnight to Foxwoods. We spent Saturday afternoon at the spa relaxing, then ent back to the hotel (we stayed 5 minutes down the road, MUCH more affordable), got changed, drank champagne, went to dinner, went to the casino, and then went to a club for some more drinks and dancing. It was a great time!

I had a mini bachelorette this past weekend - one of my BMs and another friend took me to Mohegan Sun - I won $50! hah

Next weekend is my actual bachelorette - We're going to Lil's Studio on Newbury St to make handbags and then we're going to go out for drinks and food!

We are also going to Foxwoods. I'm not sure if we are staying there or at a different hotel- I know my MOH has stayed at a hotel not on the property and she felt like it takes away from the fun, so that end of the plans is up to her! I am so looking forward to just hanging out by a pool and going out for a great dinner, drinks... can't wait!

My MOH is from Jamestown RI (that Island you have to go over to get to Newport), and her parents own a rental property on the beach which they are willing to donate for a weekend of madness...so the plan is beach during the day, and bars at night :-) I can't wait!

One of my BM's mother offered us her house in Dennisport for the weekend. So we will have a great beach day hopefully then head back to make a nice cape cod dinner and head out to some bars

Not really sure but I'm almost positive we are going down to NYC for the weekend.
I'm from ny and love going out there way more than going out here. We'll probably stay at some trendy hotel, eat lots of yummy food and go out like crazy... woohoo!

I am having a combined bachelorette with another friend, we are going to my friends parents house in Fla for a long weekend.

Most of the other b-parties I have been to have been a night out with dinner/bars. Went to Jacques once, which was hilarious, had a stripper pole dancing class at a friends house once which was a blast. I think there are tons of options, just depends on you and your friends. I think the advantage to a night out in town is that sometimes more friends can join in (not just the BMs), the more the merrier!

My bachelorette was at Foxwoods. Escalade limo for the ride there and back, dinner, a little gambling, and spent most of the time at the club, Shrine. I loved it!

Call me crazy but two words:

"Drag Bar".

One night a friend of mine and I decided to be spontaneous and go to Jacques Cabaret in Boston. It was such a great time! When we were there, there were 3 bachelorette parties. The Drag Queens put on a fabulous and funny 2 hour lip-sync and dance show and it was $10 to get in. It was loads of fun so now I want to bring all the girls there.

Jacques Cabaret is the BEST! It's very inexpensive and the show is great. I just wnt there with a bride for her bachlorette about a month ago and we all had a blast!

I will probably go to KINGS and go bowling. I love bowling, and it won't break the bank.

me, my two sisters and 13 of my ladies are going to Chicago in July for a long weekend - can not wait! Catching a cubs game, painting the town red and lounging by the rooftop pool with yummy cocktails

The flights and hotel were very reasonable, so we figured why not.
