Hey girls I was wondering how much are you bridesmaids paying for their dresses?
The dress I originally looked at is $80, but I was watching My Fair Wedding and I feel in love the the concept of the dresses from TwoBirds where its one dress that can be worn 15 days. They are $270, but I look at it as an investment because they can wear the dresses over and over and each time it's like a new dress. My mom and I are going to discuss it later because she thinks the price is a little high.
Re: Bridesmaid dress cost
The dress I picked for my girls is $250. Definitely pricey but I loved it. I felt like it was perfect but I knew that it was probably too expensive. I would have like to get something cheaper.

But those dresses are popular now and you can find them on other sites such as Victoria's Secret for a lot less.
My BMs actually ended up selecting more expensive dresses (different designer) than what I was originally thinking. They were fine with the price. There dresses ranged from $155 - $188 including a 20% discount. WHile I dolove the dresses your referring to, the price may be a little much. I agree with PP, check the web for other companies that offer the same type for less.

The dress that 4 of my girls originally picked was $270, but the shop discounted it and was charging us $216 plus taxes. I had some grumbling and actually grumbled a little myself because I didn't love the dress. Everyone was willing to live with it though. I ended up finding a dress that I love and that 7/8 of them love and it is $190 plus tax. I feel better about it and in the end so do they. It's easy to forget how costly things get when you factor in alterations, bridal showers, bachlorette parties, lodging, and transportation. Just run it by them in a way that doesn't try to convince them of anything. Present it as an option. I, personally, would not want to spend that much on the Two Birds dress because even though I do attend formal events periodically, I'd never actually wear that dress to multiple events because although twisted differently...it's the same dress. Just my two cents. I do think though that if it is the dress you love, you should try to make it work...maybe if it is over budget, you could make up the difference for your maids?
