"Bride To Be" clothes?

That is the question of the night. Did anyone end up buying "Future Bride" or any type of clothing noting your upcoming nuptuals? I was thinking of going to Jo-Ann fabrics in a few months, buying a few shirts, some rhinestones and a hotfix wand and going to work for that. Anyone else have the same idea?

I have a "bride" tank that I found on-sale, but was also thinking of doing a DIY project. Michaels has letters that I believe are able to go directly on the fabric. I was thinking of doing a sweatshirt that has Mrs. with my future Last Name on the lower-back for my wedding day. I saw a cute photo of a girl in the chair getting her make-up done with a similar sweatshirt (so another words I am being a copy-cat). I have to investigate the rhinestones and see how they work!

Same here. Youtube probably has a DIY guide to blinging out. It probably takes a whole lot of patience and a skilled hand. The letter idea seems really really fun. I was thinking of doing a few sweaters that way. I know Target has good deals on sweaters, whether they be pull over or zip ups, but I know they are kind of a pain to maintain and after a while the colors fade, that is if you're not good with the laundry. <~~~

I'm a huge nerd and I DIY sparkle shirts every freakin time I have some kind of 'occassion' - concert, vacation, etc.  I just made a white tank with "Bride" on it in hot pink stones for my Disney bachelorette in 2 weeks :):)

Go to www.threadart.com to buy your hotfix rhinestones.  Trust me on this.  Everywhere else you will pay a fortune.

I usually buy an Old Navy tank top, and just lay the stones out one by one.  Takes some patience, but you'll get exactly what you want.  Then just iron on the stones!

Thanks for the suggestion! I would have replied earlier, but our downstairs neighbor failed and set off the fire alarm for the building. I think we all see the line of priorities for that one. I'll definately give that a look tomorrow after some sleep. I'm also super excited about the old navy thing, we're like 5 minutes or less from the store.

I have a tank top from a personalized clothing store. It says "Future Mrs. Johnson" across the front of it and I love to wear it all the time (okay, tacky, I know).

I bought a 'Soon to Be Mrs. _________' hoodie from TK last summer...I've worn it a few times to certain bridal appointments and an expo...I also plan to wear it to our rehearsal :-)  I bought a 'Bride' rhinestone tank from TK as well...and want to order a 'Just Married' one soon for the HM!

Check Michael's. They have a lot of things like that there. I got a just engaged tank and a bride to be hoodies there. You could also DIY. There are a lot of etsy sellers that have the rhinestone decals and you can buy Old Navy tanks tops. It's probably cheaper.

i'm too lazy to DIY the tanks.  I got tanks with flowers on the shoulder.  Here's a link.  They have all size and color ranges.

Yeah I want it to be custom made though. I feel like it'd have more meaning, and it's something that you can learn how to do and use for future items later.
