Good morning??

Re: Good morning??

• Fische - I'm so sorry to hear that. The worse funeral I've been too was my FI's best friend our jr year of college. It's so much harder when it's a young person.

• Fishy, I'm sorry. That's really sad.

I wasn't around much to help out here yesterday... I had a really busy day at school, and lately I've been doing a better job of figuring out how to avoid the internet. I just woke up, and now I'm thinking about how best to divide my time between the library and Panera to study today. It has suddenly dawned on me that my exam is now about a month and a half away, and that's kind of a freaky thought. Especially when I have a list of about 200 things to read, and I've read maybe 30 of them. Embarassed

Awww thats disappointing the ghost tour was a dud :( There is a ghost tour here at our (canadas) fort from the war of 1812, which is pretty creepy. You have to go underground in a long tunnel and all sorts of stuff. Didnt see any ghosts but did get attacked by a bat the one time I went!
• Morning everyone. I'm back at work for the first time since Thursday. I have a ton of work to catch up on, but I'm not very motivated.

[QUOTE]That's great Sarah! :) I'm so glad you're working things out. I also think we should attempt a Delmarva Knottie G2G or something sometime this spring. I'm trying to get into that place myself because things are so up in the air and as of right now FI and I could be living in our cars in a month, haha. Won't happen, but it's, like, a 0.004% possibility and that's enough to stress me out.

That would be fun! We should do that.

Nebb, it was definitely a sad ghost tour. The whole ghost industry has become a big thing in Gettysburg of late, to the point that on this one street, there are five shops in a row that operate ghost tours. I just picked the wrong one. It probably doesn't help that I'm kind of a skeptic about the supernatural, and I go mainly to learn new stuff about the battle.

Wow, so theres a whole ghost industry there! I would love to get a job doing something ghost related.
• Well, if you move to a "haunted" town, I bet you could find something. You probably could do a better job as a tour guide than the poor guy who gave my tour. I felt kind of bad for him.

Hopefully he was just new. Thats still disappointing it wasnt very good. Where did the ghost tour take you, through the battlefield?
• Here's a link to the article if anyone is interested:

• No, it was through the town. During the battle, the town was kind of a no-man's land for snipers and guerilla fighting, and so there were lots of deaths in town. I'd love to go to a tour that was actually on the battlefield, but I think they only run those during the summer. I'm working on FI to get him to go with me in June :)

• What a wonderful article, Fischey. What a tragedy for both families involved.
• Nebb, you don't sleep much do you? You were up late last night and then super early this morning.. I feel like a stalker knowning that.

I am exhausted this morning, my neighbours seem to think its okay to play music full blast til 2AM.

Then I come in 7 minutes late and my coworker says to me 'you should set your alarm clock 20 minutes faster', first off, it doesn't affect her if I'm late in the morning, and second, she came in late for lunch yesterday (she has to relieve me at lunch) 20 minutes late! So I had to rush around after my lunch.. /rant over

On the bright side, Ry did bring me a bagel and coffee this morning. :)

• Sarah, I think they still do the battlefield tours on horseback too. Those have to specially requested and early.

Good morning all - I'm here before class, blah.

Fish - I'm really sorry. :( I'll be thinking good thoughts for them and you!

Sarah - If you and your FI seriously want to take a ghost battle tour, definitely come up in the summer, but come up in middle/late june or late july/early august. You miss all the crazy, "let's talk the whole time and not listen to a dang word", take pictures with flash every five feet tourists. OH, and definitely go on the one that they do at midnight. It's the best one.

Also, you should totally let me know when you'll be in the area and I can send you a link to fun things that are going on in the area that aren't battle related, if you have the notion. :D

Im honoured to know I have an internet stalker ;) I was up until 1 or so. It was part of my deal with my husband - if he worked for an hour (until 1) I would stay up and then wake up early to make him breakfast, that way if he was tired I would be just as tired and suffer with him. I am pretty tired.
• Sarah, I went on a tour through the N. Carolina governor's mansion from pre-revolution and I upset the girl doing the tour because I knew more about Revolutionary history than she did. haha...
• Good morning!

I'm sitting having coffee before I go work out.

My friend had her baby today, I'm pretty excited. Her name is Jade and she's super healthy. It was a day by day thing waiting bc her doctor got her file mixed up with someone else's file, so this was just a big mess.

• Hey, aMrs, check your PM's.

Nebb, you are such a good wife. My husband came to bed at 2:00 last night, and got up at 6:15 to walk the dog for me.
• Shelly, that's awesome! Congrats to your friend.

So dislike this morning: took FI to class and it's raining out, so there are worms EVERYWHERE. And I do not like worms. Ickkkk.

Deals where i benefit nothing are the easiest way to get my husband to do things he doesnt want to do. My husbands deadline for his comic was last thursday and he still has 1.5 pages left to do, so I am doing everything in my power to get him to work on it.
• But Nebb, you do benefit. If your husband makes his deadline (or only misses it by a little, I assume), doesn't that bring money into the joint coffers, so to speak? So your benefit is more long term, but it is there nonetheless. Plus it gives you an excuse to be a raging bitch (I relish any excuse I can get, but sadly most days I don't have one, but am a raging bitch anyway).

It really doesnt, I stupidly told him once upon a time that any money he makes from comics he gets to keep 100% for himself and use how he wants. He is holding me to that now that he is making considerably more than he was when I said that (then 100-150$). He also just bought me a laptop so he feels we are even.
• fishy, I'm so sorry to hear that. That is heartbreaking.

All this SBTB talk made me pretty happy. Mr. Penny Tivo'd the "I'm so excited" episode last week for me. I freaked him out because I still knew EVERY WORD to the Hot Sundaes song. "Put your mind to it, go for it, go on and break a sweat. Rock n roll, you ain't seen nothin' yet!" If I had this memory for things related to my job, I'd be the best lawyer ever :)
