maine elopement wedding

Hello,
I am from Philadelphia and was thinking of having a destination wedding in Maine. I have never been to Maine but I hear that Portland is a good place to go. Can anyone suggest venues that would let you have a elopement style of a wedding? Thanks for the help!!

What kind of wedding are you thinking of having?

I've seen weddings at the Eastland Park Hotel in Portland which are beautiful. The hotel itself is beautiful, I've stayed a couple of times. http://www.eastlandparkhotel.com/specials.htm

Bar Harbor is also very pretty location on the coast, although it would be further to travel.

There are also beach locations (if you're doing a summer wedding) - Kennebunk, York, etc.
