What kind of wedding ring did you get? Does it fit snugly against your e-ring? Please PIP your wedding ring or wedding ring with e-ring if you can.

I'm having trouble finding a wedding ring I like because many of the ones I've seen and tried on are made for round solitaires.

Also, any advice for stores to go to? My e-ring is from Blue Nile, but the wedding rings I tried on from there don't go well with it. We bought FI's ring at The Jewelry Exchange in Woodbridge, but I really don't want to go back there for my wedding ring... I felt like a piece of raw meat being eyed by vultures when we walked in - it was way too intense and overwhelming in there for me because of all the sellers and ring choices.

Mine is a 3 stone princess cut and had the same issue looking for bands. I ended up with a band that has princess cut diamonds in a channel around the entire band, but we had to have it custom made so it fit right next to the e-ring.

Am curious to see what others did!

Mine has baguettes, but kind of the same deal. I went with a ring with no stones which is what I had originally thought I'd get, but anything with diamonds didn't look right with the baguettes and/or didn't fit correctly with my engagement ring.

My ring is a band with milgrain detailing from Blue Nile.

Mine is princess cut but the side diamond are round cut in a pave setting, I haven't started looking yet but I know there is a matching set, I'll check that out... but I will probably get a band with pavee setting as well.

I totally sympathize with you Peaches- mine is princess cut from Blue Nile and I must have tried on 800 bands until I decided to just get the matching plain band that went with my E-ring. My parents also have matching bands and I liked that ours match. Down the road I may get a thin pave band to wear in between my wedding band and E-ring- possibly as a "push present" aka when we have our first kid.

Mine is also a princess cut solitare from blue nile. I had the same problem finding a band and I ended up going with 7 stone band from blue nile. It's a pretty small and petite ring but it ended up fitting nicely with the e-ring. I have small fingers so it doesn't look too small and out of place.

My e-ring tapers in at the setting, like the pic below. I tried on a lot of bands too and ended up deciding on channel set band with princess cut diamonds around the band.
At first I thought of having one custom made that would fit flush against my e-ring but then I figured I would never be able to wear the band alone. So mine does not fit flush up against my e-ring.

My ring looks a lot like Sherri's. We haven't bought our bands yet, but as of now I want to get one that is channel set with princess cut diamonds. I've tried it on with my ring and love it!

I have a "shared prong" diamond band (sorry, not great with describing all of this stuff) that has diamonds all around. DH even surprised me with a second band at the alter, so I wear one on either side of my engagement ring. He got my ring at Jewelry Exchange too. We went there for wedding bands, but felt the same way you did. We wound up buying our bands at Martin's Jewelers in Cranford - they were good to work with. Adlers Jewelers in Westfield also had a nice selection.

that is a link to the wedding band I got. I had a hard time finding a band that went with my ring and fit snuggly against my e-ring. the curve on this ring allowed it to fit nicely against the other ring and it still looks beautiful/simple if i am not wearing my e-ring.

Thanks for all of the advice and pictures, ladies! I'm going up and down Route 22 this weekend with FI to every jewelry store we see, so I'll let you know how it goes! :-)
