My nails are short now. :(

Well, after two months of growing out my nails for the wedding, I'm back to my rather short style again. I broke my left thumbnail yesterday and decided it was time to cut them all. They'd gotten to be really long - far longer than I've ever had them before - and honestly were starting to interfere with daily tasks. Now that they're at their normal length (about 1/8 inch of "tip" past the nail bed - they were about 1/2") my fingers feel naked! It feels weird to type without my nails in the way now.

    I usually keep my nails really long.  however, I didn't want to obsess about breaking one right before the wedding so I cut them very short and decided to do acrylics. 

    but yep, when you cut them your fingers def. feel weird at first.  i hate that feeling

    btw violakat, I am obsessed with your dress.  lovelovelove it.  my dress is lace with long, lace sleeves so I'm biased.

    My whole life is spent trying to grow out my nails, but they always break. Somehow I managed to get them the longest they've been in a long time for the wedding (and every nail was long!). Then as soon as the wedding was over they all started breaking haha. I've only got 3 long nails left :(

I started taking them about 4 months ago and my nails and hair are amazingly strong now. My thumbnail cracking was actually the first time I've broken one in months, and since I'm a ride operator on a coaster, I'm constantly running them into the restraints and such. I've never had nails this strong before.

    They also make specific hair & nail vitamins, but they're a little more expensive than prenatals.

    Also, to aro - thanks!! :) It's actually a strapless dress with a lace bolero over it. They looked like they belonged together though. Putting the jacket with it in the store is what made my mom cry.
