Long story short:
Engaged since October, planning for 2014 (no idea on date yet) wedding.
Found out early December that I was pregnant almost 2 months, so obviously that became the focus and wedding got put on the back burner for right now, as financially we cannot afford to prepare for a child and plan a wedding at the same time.
We found out a few days ago that we lost the baby, which we are finding ways to deal with reasonably well, despite the obvious devastation.
I've tried to get myself excited about wedding planning again, and to sort of distract myself with that, but I feel so disinterested. I know I'm early in the grieving process, but I guess I was just hoping that the excitement from the wedding could help me get out of this funk, and I feel stuck. Anyone gone through anything similar and have any advice?
Praying for a miracle!
Re: trouble getting motivated/excited...
Thank you for the kind words and suggestion to wait until I'm through this.
I'm very sorry your loss.
I don't know that there is any great advice for situations like these, but I appreciate the kind words, support, and knowing I'm not alone in feeling underwhelmed and without excitement for my wedding during this time.
