Since going (mostly) gluten free, I've found myself dealing with more and more frequent bouts of hypoglycemia. I eat a good amount of fruits and veggies (usually anywhere from 5-10 servings a day). I don't eat many "replacement" GF foods, and tend to stick to things that are naturally GF, so it's not unusual for my carbs to be below 150g a day.
I've started carrying Larabars, nuts, and fruit with me constantly. I try to eat smaller meals more frequently, but with my work schedule, that's often pretty impossible. I have a physical scheduled for the beginning of May, and I have every intention of talking to my doctor about it then--but in the meantime, has anyone experienced this, and do you have any suggestions besides what I'm already doing to help keep the shakes at bay? I get very shaky, dizzy, get a headache, feel like I might pass out, and get very irritable if I don't eat every few hours. It comes out of nowhere a lot--I often feel this way before I feel physically hungry. I've come so far working on only eating when I'm hungry, and I'm struggling with feeling like I have to eat on a "schedule" to avoid feeling like death.

Everything the light touches is my kingdom.
