jagore- I know about the thread, thanks! I went through it but I found that not a lot of ladies posted the tcw which I know some women prefer not to. So I decided to see if anyone would post here so I can get a good idea of what a carat looks like.

I picked out my ring with my bf a few months ago and I forgot what it looks like in all its splendor lol!

I thought 1ct would be too big for me because i have long skinny fingers but I really really love it.

That shadow is from the camera. Not my favorite picture, but shows the size of the center stone better, I think.

My center stone is a 1.08 ct.

Jelenny- It doesn't matter. I just am trying to get an idea of what my ring looks like. I haven't seen it since I picked it out a while back. I like to see other people's rings that are about 1ct because I went back and forth between rb, princess, cushions and whether or not to pave the band. It just helps to see others. I also think the carat size changes the overall look of a ring that is why I asked to see one carats.

i wouldnt fixate too much on the ring YOU picked out...there could be a chance you may not get that exact ring. i mean i hope you do, but i know i went ring shopping and had an idea well the fi totally blew me out of the water and got something even better, however scroll down there are plenty of stories of girls that get let down because they have a standard...assume and well end up disappointed

hence my comment about since when does the ring make the relationship
