[QUOTE]Muni! I went to Wolrd of Beer the other night. I took their beer case as a challenge to try them all. I also think I'll make a spreadsheet and take notes so I'll actually remember what I'm drinking. By the end, I will have vast amounts of beer knowledge. The manager is going to help me.

<div>I do not know this world of beer.  I go to Triangle Wine.  If you go out of your complex and go straight past the parks and rec building and turn right on davis, it's on the left after a mile-ish.  they're awsesome. </div>

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Friday Night Thread Goes Here : Not carbonated beverages.  Sometimes pasta or bread will, but only if it's white. Because I quit doing that stuff about 4 or 5 years ago. But sometimes I eat it if I'm at a friend's or whatever.  I could get away with drinking Budweiser and I'm not sure if this is true or not but somone told me it is made with rice instead of whatever they use usually and that is probably why i could tolerate it. I dunno. But I still didn't like the taste, so what was the point. Especially when there was vodka available!

Well, if that IS true, then it sounds like a gluten thing.  But I am not a doctor.

  • Poke, one again you come thru with the info. Nice.

I did actually have this one pair of pants for about 15 years. They finally became so thread-bare, they had to go. I almost cried. I do currently have a pair that are way too big for me that must be nearing the 10-year mark. But that's not really that impressive and certainly not as old as any of y'all.

  • Soosh - that looks good. I love cupcakes!

Maybe I should keep that on the DL though....
  • Muni, 1) You would probably like WoB. When you walk in they go ahead and tell you not to even bother with Bud Light, Mich Ultra, etc. because they don't carry it.
    2) The one I told you about that doesn't plan on getting married til 40 if ever. He's just a big flirt but we had a thing for each other in HS and he says he's in lust with me so it's fun.

  • I buy the majority of my clothes second hand. Other clothes purchased new are very cheaply made. I'd be lucky if I kept pants for a year.
  • 1) well, the store I go to doesn't carry that schitt either.  I'll have to take you there soon.

    2) the one who's babies you're supposed to have if neither of you has procreated by 30?

</div><div>Three to four years ago, I ate so freakin' clean it was crazy. I lost 87 lbs. I felt so damn good. Then H got hit by the truck and focus shifted to his rehab (of course; I'm not blaming or anything) and I just slowly started eating things I hadn't in ages and weight crept back on. I'm still down about half but it's frustrating.</div>
