Hi Everyone! I mainly just fed off of everyone's advice/posts and wouldn't have been able to do this without it! So here are my reviews in return. Let me know if you have questions! We stayed a week, we always go for New Years and decided to come a couple days earlier for our wedding this year.
Chapel of the Flowers A-
Our wedding planner was very responsive throughout the whole process. We booked in March for our December wedding. We went with a package they no longer have and didn't add any extra photography. We had 2 limos, one for the guests and 1 for us and ours was about 20 minutes late. Due to this, we kind of felt a little rushed when we got to the Chapel. The ceremony was about 11 minutes and perfect. I changed my flowers to Gerbera Daisies and added the flower shower. The flower shower was for sure my favorite pictures. Overall our photographer was really lacking creativity and lightening expertise. I was really disappointed because I had book COF due to their amazingly known photography. We ordered our cake through the Chapel and OMG it was the best cake ever! We got buttercream, white cake, and amaretto filling. All of our guests raved about it! I need to find out the bakery the got it from! We had them deliver it to our hotel the morning of and it worked out great. Overall it was perfect for us because we didn't have to do a whole lot and the grounds are above and beyond gorgeous compared to all of the other stand alone Chapel in Vegas. All of our guests were very impressed by the Chapel as well.
Battista's Hole in the Wall-A
We were on a very strict budget. This place was in our budget and had awesome food, too much in fact! The meals run from $22-$38. This includes unlimited red and white wine, soup or salad, garlic bread, the entree, and a cappuccino at the end. The food was perfect, came out hot and served in good timing. We stayed well within our budget due to this place. They were really easy to book with, you just need a credit card to hold the reservation. If you are okay with no private room and a casual atmosphere, please don't hesitate to book here.
Keith Kaplan Photography-A+
We decided to do first look photos and a strip tour before hand. Keith was perfect for our budget. It was $395 for 3 hours, including all rights to the pictures in 4 different colorings. He was on time and ready to shoot right away. My husband has never been a picture fan and was really dreading the before pictures, Keith made him feel so comfortable in front of the camera! He took some amazing getting ready photos of me in the suite and in our hotel. He provides transportation on the strip tour as well. He knew exactly where to park and where to shoot some good photos. We mainly shot at the Bellagio due to time constraints. The Las Vegas sign had too big of a line for us to get anything there, the only down fall! After the strip tour, we went back and took family pictures in the lobby. He knew what shots to take and it worked out perfect. I would highly recommend him for your pictures needs! We already have our pictures back! Book him!
The Platinum Suites-A
We stayed here for 3 nights during the wedding. We wanted to have enough room for everyone to come over after dinner and cut the cake/hang out. We went with the mid size suite and had 20 guests in it, it was about 1200 sf. Having the full kitchen and balcony was a nice touch. We upgraded to a strip view room and everyone enjoyed the view! I had room to decorate and lay everything out, so nice. I ordered room service breakfast the morning of and it was delicious! We didn't eat there besides the breakfast. The entire staff was so nice and helpful. It was really close to Battista's, we even walked from there. Pretty close to the strip as well. My husband was really happy with the room, he couldn't believe that we got so nice of a room for such a good deal! I would for sure stay there again.
Ballys-A
We stayed here for 4 nights after the wedding. It was a really decent price considering it was New Years. Loved the casino, no problems. Rooms were really clean and we stayed in the newer North Tower. They gave us a refrigerator for free which was nice. We ate at the tacos and tequillas place and Nosh. Both were great food. $2 tacos and shots were awesome! Nosh had amazing sandwiches. I would stay there again.
Noodles and Yellowtail Sushi at the Bellagio-A
We always eat here every year. These places rock! Such amazing food, try them!
Marriage License-
It took us literally 5 minutes to get our license. Register early online! It will save you tons of time. Oh and if you take a rental car down there, make sure and have quarters for the meters...
Shows-all As
Zumanity, Sin City Comedy, Mark Savard, and Jubilee. All of the were awesome. Recommend seeing any of them.
