Help, Disfunction Veil!

So I've managed to plan this wedding in less than a month because it's a super small wedding. But I bought a veil from David's Bridal and as I was leaving they were like, "Bring it back 4-6 weeks before your wedding to have it pressed" Well I have four weeks exactly, not four to six. Plus I live an hour away from the nearest David Bridal and don't have much time to just take a drive up there to drop off a veil.
My dilema is, I don't think this veil is sitting right. It pops out tremendously so and nothing I do makes it better. There is a bridal store in town and I don't know if I can take the veil there for their help or if there's some handy dyi.

This is the veil I bought for reference.

Re: Help, Disfunction Veil!

  • Call around to places that do alterations.
  • Do you have a steamer? Maybe you could try that? I would check with your bridal store in town before you go out of your way.
    Good luck! :)
  • I've heard lots of girls say that they just steam the veil themselves.  Hang it in the bathroom when you go to take a shower.  Tada!

I just noticed that it's a blusher veil, so idk if the tip will work or if it only works for longer veils.  But I figure it's still worth a shot since it won't cost you anything and also won't take any extra time.  Good luck!

  • Place it over a round form and steam it.
