  I was also in your boat and looked at renting vs. buying.  If you were to buy from Michael's, Old Time Pottery, or Hobby Lobby, it would be cheaper.  Then you could even save more by selling them afterwards.  The gimmick is to have storage area for them between your wedding and selling them (we put ours in the garage).

  
  

  Otherwise, I heard about All Occasions Event  Rental although never used them.  Worth a look.

  Prime Time Party has them for rent - they are located in Dayton but serve Cincinnati area as well. They have 10", 14", 19.5", pricing is $2, $4, $6, respectively. I've worked with them on several occasions for work.
