AW: 1st Dress Fitting (PIP)

I had my first dress fitting last week.  My dress fits almost perfect!!!  All I need is a bustle and cups sewn in.  I decided to do it through Mestads alterations so that they will store my dress until the wedding.  And it actually was a fairly reasonable rate because I needed do so little. Now its on to shoes and jewelry.  I found these blue  shoes on Zappos, what do you think?

Unfortunately I did not get any pictures with the train of the dress down.  Oh well, I can get them at the next fitting.

LOVE your dress, especially for the neckline, it looks amazing on you! Is that your veil? Will if be a raw edge or beading? I couldn't tell.

I think the shoes are cute but they look like they would KILL your feet, are you used to wearing heels? My FSIL wore almost those exact shoes for her wedding but in ivory and she had them off as soon as the ceremony was done because they hurt so bad and she wears heels daily.

Veijes- I think I will order the shoes and see how they feel.  I am used to wearing 2 1/2- 3 1/2 heels everyday and spike heels in the summer.  But, I will defiantly make sure I am comfortable for hours before I wear them on the day.   Luckally Zappos has a 365 day return policy.  Thanks for the advice.

As for the veil, that is my actual veil.  I really wanted a Cathedral train and fell in love with this dress.  So, I special ordered a very very long veil.  It's actually 15 feet long.  It is a raw edge as to allow the dress lace to still be a focal point.  Although I know most people will still be looking at the veil.  It wasn't pressed in the picture so I can't wait to see it when I can spread it out and see it nicely pressed.
