Aww.. chels - he's adorable. I kinda want a puppy... but then I realize I get annoyed taking care of my adult dog (that H wanted and now he is gone 3 weeks at a time so it's all on me), and puppies need so much more.
Puppies and babies fall into the same category for me. I like them in theory and really want one because they're cute. Then I think about how much work they are and I realize I'm just not cut out for that kind of responsibility. Oh well, at least I can admire all the cute babies and puppies on here.
I love my dog and she is almost a year and a half old now and I'm still trying to forgive her for all her puppy siht. I will never have a puppy again. Fucking nightmare from hell
Hi! I didn't like Nala most of the time when she was a puppy. And for Labs puppyhood lasts about 3 years. She's great now, though. She'll place a spite sh!t once in a while, but overall she's a great dog.
We bought a car today. I'm excited, but I get oddly attached to things and I'm very sad about trading in the other cars.
Autumn was cute as a puppy but the constantly needing to go out... and as a breed Swissy's are notoriously difficult to housebreak. They just grow so quickly it takes them a long time to gain enough control over their bladders to make it outside. She was about 6 months old before she really was housebroken. I knew she GOT the concept when she started pee'ing trails towards the door. She just didn't have enough advanced warning to get to the door and outside before the need to go was too great. It's a running joke on the breed forums about the pee trails.

I know Nebb, but if this works, and I have a baby on the way, it wont be fair to the puppy. As bad as I want to, pits are a lot of work the first year
Im not worried about her being housebroken. I can do that by month 4. Its the strict excercise and discipline. Im worried I wont have enough time for her.
