Yaki? Help please!

I hope you all can help! My stylist told me to buy a pack of yaki for my wedding style. Does anyone shop online for it? If so, can you point me in the right direction. I will go to the store to get it but I want to be a little educated before I walk in. It has been a while since I did this so I'm sure I'm not up to speed on things.

THANKS!

How long are you planning on wearing it? Yaki is for short term use only, and I wouldn't sew it in either, I'd glue it. You don't want that sewn in your hair. Usually all beauty supplies have it. How long do you want it? 14 in would be a nice length for a long style, and 10 in would be short. If you want nicer hair that will last, I'd try Remi or Indian Hair. HTH!!!

I was wondering this too. My FMIL suggested I buy Yaki since I wanted my hair to the side and it would be humid on the wedding day. I bought it but I don't really know what to do next. The last time I put weave in my hair was for prom and that was a LONG time ago, lol. I was planning on sewing it in but after reading what Desi wrote, I'm not so sure. What do you think would be good hair to get for a humid day?

I don't glue ANY hair in my head! It is too damaging. also, if you are planning on honeymooning after, you don't want to have to worry about tracks slipping or coming out. But, like Desi said- it sounds like its just short term. If not, look into a better grade.

I agree with pp that Yaki is ONLY for short term use. You should definitely go into the beauty supply store and check out several different brands because not all Yaki is created equal. Some are thicker and coarser while others are silkier and finer and softer. You want to touch it and see it in person. Then you want to lightly run your fingers through the wefts and tug at it to check for the shed factor.

Don't worry about doing any back research. Everyone was a weave virgin at some point. LOL!

Oh...and DO NOT GLUE IT IN!!!! Glue can be extremely damaging to your own hair and it is certainly not worth the risk. Try looking for the individual pieces that come in different lengths and clip in to save on time and to avoid the glue.
