PH In suite reception...upgrades Pls HELP!

Hello!  Sorry to start a whole new thread on this subject, but I can't seem to find one that I had seen last week:(

Has anyone booked the Princess Bride package thru the chapel and then booked a bigger suite thru Total Experience? Were you able to just pay an upcharge if you will since the chapel package includes the Panorama suite or did you have to book totally separate, in which case you end up with 2 suites?

Also if you book thru the total experience, are you required to do anything else thru them, ie room service for the reception, room block etc?

Lastly, how was the food that was included in the package...anything stand out as a great or terrible?

Thanks again everyone for helping me.  I cannot believe how awesome this site has become as a source of info!

    I only found one bride on the Knottie list who did an in-suite -- you may want to check out her bio.

    We have an Apex suite booked for our 'post dinner reception' party at PH in April. Although we had to use Total Experiences to secure this room we found them unaccommodating with our other room request. It seems that although they say it costs nothing to use this service the rate they wanted to charge for the rest of our block of rooms (they require a minimum of 5) was double the price of what our guests could book direct with PH. 

    TExp claim you can then use a host of other services for 'free' (booking shows, cabanas etc.) but we couldn't see the value or ask our guests to pay double for their rooms.

    We obviously made sure our Suite booking was confirmed and deposit taken before we told them our guests would be just booking direct Smile
