Suggestions on where to buy the Cake??

I'm not from southern LA and we really don't know who to contact or at least do a cake tastings with bakers near the Covington/Franklinton area. We don't necessarily need someone who delivers, we just want to have a good cake and not break our budget!  Any suggestions??

    Where is your wedding going to be?  I think a lot of people on the Northshore get their wedding cakes from Zoe's bakery.

    The Coco Bean in Hammond is to die for!!!  I was considering getting my wedding cake from there even though it's an hour away....and I've tried cakes from everywhere around New Orleans.  Zoe's is closer to the Covington/Franklinton area though and are incredible as well.

    I had a cake from zoe's recently had a baptisim party and wasn't impressed (and I love my sweets). I thought it was dry, everyone else loved it though
