Wedding Invitations

I am currently looking at places for invites, I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations as to where they got theirs, also....whats the normal cost for them??? Im pretty stumped with choosing these....should I do it myself... order them?? what do you feel????

I worked with Arlene at Invitations and Company in Beacon Hill. She did an amazing job! I've gotten so many compliments on them.

Invites can range in price from $2 each (or sometimes even less) to the sky's the limit. DIY is a good choice if you're creative and willing to spend a lot of time putting them together. I, myself, am so uncrafty, buying them was a no-brainer. lol

i actually ordered mine through davids bridal... they were by far the best price i found, they have a huge selection, and they were actually really nice.  i would def recommend ordering the samples first though (they're only $1 each, so it's def worth it).

    ...hello out there!

I cannot say enough about Shirra Baston at http://www.phillipsstreet.com. She is phenomenal. My fiance and I had no idea about what we wanted and what we wanted to spend... She sat for about two hours showing us various styles and price points and carefully designed our invites to work in our budget. I LOVE LOVE LOVE what we ended up with. They are SO elegant and well priced...

She even helped me change out our colors after our initial meeting... She can also make matching programs/menus/place cards etc.

    Check her out!

I'm not sure where you live but PaperPotpouri in haverhill is FANTASTIC!!  Elaine has been doing invites for like 30 years and she works with a ton of vendors.  you will be overwhelmed with options.

I used theamericanwedding.com (I think that was the website).  They were really affordable.  I think I paid $1.50 an invitation.

I second Paper Potpourri!  Elaine was amazing and she has so many different types and price ranges of invitations.  She aslo does custom invitations too if you want something different designed - she's won all sorts of awards for it!

I wanted something I couldn't find anywhere else (we are having a destination wedding during the horse races in Saratoga) so I went with a custom design from an etsy vendor... shadowboxer inc. It has taken a while to get the design finalized but I'm really happy with them so if you are short on time this wouldn't be a good option. For the envelop, invite, weekend itinerary (printed on 2 sides) and the response postcard it's $4.85 a piece.

New Engkand Art is in Abington,MA
They are the factory that makes all the Birchcraft invitations.
They have an oulet store attached to the factory.
I saved 20% on my whole order and don't have to pay for shipping. 3 day turnover is nice too.

I had a great experience at Papyrus.  I ordered Carlson Craft pocketfold invitations through them and was able to get a really great price.  They also designed a save-the-date and thank you cards to match the design of the invites.
