Anyone heard of “Kirkmcgee.com” Photography???

Ok so I was looking at photographers and so far everyone I found started at 1200 or more….that’s wayyyyy out of my budget… that’s when I came across kirkmcgee.com, and they started at 450. WOW… now that was more like it, but I have never heard anything about them before... And if it sounds too good to be true the most likely it is… I’m asking if anyone have ever heard of them before, and if you have used them what was your experience Thanks.

P.S. My budget is about 500-600 for photography; I don’t need any thing to fancy just something to look back on…I also posted this on my local bored..trying to get as much feedback as possible...

I haven't heard of Kirk Mcgee. But I would like to suggest that you check out Annie Thress, she is an advertiser here on TK and is in your price range. Might I add that she is as sweet as can be. We are using her for our wedding.

I can't speak from experience but these photog groups are typically giant fails.

They hire cheap inexperienced photogs and the quality (or should I say lack there of) shows.

If you did decide to go this route I would find out exactly which photog was going to be at your wedding (make them commit!!) and demand to see work from that specific photog.
If they won't let you, you don't want them.

Remember that while your memory may still be strong of your wedding for a year or two or seven photos will be the only memories of your wedding you have both for yourself as you age and for your children who weren't there. Photography is not something to skimp on. I would highly recommend finding it in your budget to hire a good photog.

Have you thought about hiring a student photog? Probably a better bet than someone you've heard nothing about that claims it is a company. You'll likely have better communication with a student.
