YAY!!
1. You & your FI/DH’s first name? Melissa & Chris

2. Wedding date? 10/22/11

3. Venue? Fantasia

4. How did you and FI/DH Meet? We met during the summer of 2005 while working a summer job together

5. When did you know he was THE ONE? I knew fairly soon. We had a lot in common and always had fun together.

6. What do you love most about your FI/DH? Personality and he likes to travel.

7. How long have you been together? 5 years

8. Do you live together? Why or why not? We are going to be looking for houses soon. I wanted to pay off my school debt and he is finishing up his MBA this summer, so we wanted to wait until he was done with that before we moved in together.

9. How did FI/DH propose? We went to Disney in November 2009 to see all of the Christmas decorations set up. He proposed in the Rose Garden by Cinderella’s Castle the 2^nd night we were there.

10. How long of an engagement are you having/did you have? Why? It will be almost 2 years. We didn’t want to rush and we wanted to save as much money as possible.

11. Where do you see yourself as a couple in 5 years? 10 years? In 5 years, hopefully 1 kid, nice house, better jobs J. In 10 years, who knows, lol.

12. How many BM/GM do/did you have? We have 4 GM/ 4 BM

13. Favorite wedding vendor so far? We really like working with our DJ, Mr Music Man. He’s been really helpful.

14. Biggest piece of wedding advice you can share so far? Don’t rush into anything or settle for something you really don’t want.

15. What is/was the hardest part of wedding plans for you? Trying to decide on the time of year to have the wedding. I was torn between having a summer and fall wedding. I wanted to get married on 6/22, but since that didn’t fall on a Friday or Saturday, that was out of the question. I liked the fall weather, and we happened to find a Saturday that the 22^nd fell on, so 10/22 it is!

16. What is/was your biggest splurge or must have for the big day? Deal finder? Our deal finder was our photographer. She knows one of my BM’s so we ended up saving around $1000 off our package. The biggest splurge will be our honeymoon. We are going to Disney and staying at either the Grand Floridian or the Beach Club.

17. What are you most looking forward to in regards to the wedding? Least? Most- the actual wedding itself and the honeymoon. Least- Don’t really have one (yet, anyways).

18. Do you have any special day before the wedding traditions? Day of? Probably just not see each other until the morning of the wedding.

19. Where are you HMing? Disney!

20. What is the best thing you learned on TK? Everyone here as been so helpful!!

21. What Knottie wedding would you love to attend? Why? All of them. Every wedding is unique and I’m sure they’d all be a blast to go to!

22. What is something you learned from TK that you never heard of prior? Candy buffets. I wish we were having one.

23. What other boards do you visit on TK? I occasionally check out the honeymoon board and the October 2011 board

24. What do you do for a career? What does FI/DH do? I am a financial analyst. FI is an account manager.

25. Do you want children? Yes, 2.

26. Do you think you could be/will ever be a SAHM (stay at home Mom)? I would love the opportunity too. I really don’t want to put my kids in day care, so I’ve definitely thought about working P/T while they were younger. Once they were in school all day I would go back to working F/T.

27. Do you have any pets? Names? A black lab named Shadow, and we adopted a cat in the fall named Socks.

28..Do you have any siblings? Yes, a brother (19) and sister (20).

29. What is your favorite food? Pepe’s pizza

30. What is your favorite movie? The Hangover

31. What is your favorite drink? (Alcohol & Non-Alcohol) Alcohol- Malibu Bay Breeze, Non- Alcoholic- Cranberry juice

32. What's one city you would love to live in for a year? Key West or Vero Beach, FL

33. If you have/had an extra $5000 to put towards your wedding only, what would you spend it on? I would probably have spent more on my dress, added a candy buffet, party bus.
