I am trying to help a friend out who is looking for a photographer.

Budget $3500 max budget

Wants two shooters
Disc with rights
Album if possible
Lots of hours....

Depending on where your friend is located at, I'd suggest our photographer. Her name is Leah Blaise and her company is called Photography by Leah. She does MD, DE, PA, and Northern VA. She'll provide a second shooter and I think her most expensive package is near $3000.

I used Jason Rhee. He is based out of North Jersey, but is traveling to South Jersey for the wedding (and will travel elsewhere). For under $3500, we got engagement pics, 2 shooters, 12x12 album, 2 8x8 parent albums, 100 thank you cards, a number of prints, DVD with rights to print, and complete set of 4x6 proofs for all pictures. He gives unlimited hours and does not add price for hours. He is going from 11:30am-11:30pm with us.

I met with Mike and his prices were a little higher, I'll have to check my e-mail from him but I think it was $4,200 w/an album. My other first choices were booked already so I'm using Lorraine Daley. It's a husband/wife team. Super nice and laidback, love their style.. The basic package is under that price range and includes:

Photo-journalistic/artistic style.
8 hours
2 Photographers
Disc w/images and rights to reproduce
Complimentary Engagement Shoot
Photos displyed on Blog
DVD slideshow w/music

The album is an additional $1,000. I may buy this later or purchase the box of the proofs and make my own album (for $300).
