Almonds

Good news for almond lovers in this article!!

I have to say, this corroborates my own experience.  Even though nuts are dense, supposedly high-calorie foods, I've found that plain, unsalted almonds are an AWESOME snack food -- they are extremely filling but hard to overindulge on (the plain ones at least -- when you start adding tasty salty coatings it's a different story).  They're delicious when you're hungry but not very appealing when you're not :)

Anyway, I just saw that article and thought I'd share!

    Thanks for posting this. Almonds, and many nuts, are an AWESOME healthy snack. They are full of healthy fats for great hair and skin. The one problem is that because many people think of them as 'healthy', they over indulge and end up eating 400 calories of nuts. 

    To create a healthy portion, carry almonds with you in an altoid tin sized container!

  • I keep a bag of Raw Almonds at my desk at work.  They really help when I feel hungry, i take a small handful and eat them an it helps.  

    I also keep a jar of natural peanut butter and will either eat a spoonful or put it on celery sticks,
