Getting in Shape

how bad is 30 day shred really?

I have heard that Jillian Michael's 30 day shred is intense and prone to causing injuries if you're not already in shape. I am just getting back into working out so I'm not near that level yet but once I get a little more in shape I was considering trying this....question is, should I?

  • FWIW, when I started doing the 30DS, I was 100 pounds my goal weight and had barely worked out a day in my life. It's not designed for people who are hardcore!

  • I am on day 12 of the 30 Day Shred and am definitely feeling it. I did level one for 10 days and now am on day two of level two. Level one definitely helped me build up my endurance and I felt a LOT stronger by day 10. It's the perfect workout for the busy girl!
  • I started 30 day shred about a week ago.  I love it!  I sprained my ankle VERY badly in November and I'm trying to get back into shape.  It still can't really run without pain so this video scared me a bit, but it's fine for the most part.  The only thing I don't lilke about it is the limited amount of stretching.  Make sure you stretch after.

If you are just getting into working out, go for it!!!!  My guess is that you'll be misrable on day one, but after that you'll be amazed at how much easier it gets!

    Good luck!
