I took my dog out at 7. I just took her out again. We've gotten 6 inches of snow since then. I didn't even know it was snowing.

Ugh, I just noticed that my puppy tracked in some poop on her paw from going outside a short while ago, because suddenly my carpet next to me smelled disgusting. Lovely!

It snowed a little here today, not enough to require special attention when driving or anything.

It kills me when people around here freak out about snow... come on people, we live in Cleveland. We get LOTS of snow every winter. Driving in it is not rocket science.

I just tell people I grew up and learned to drive in Wisconsin so this is nothing, but reality - we get more snow in Cleveland than in my part of Wisconsin, I just don't freak out about it.

These are the same people who can't believe I drive through Chicago to get home on a regular basis - OMG, I can't believe you drive THERE!! WTF are you thinking... It's just driving - avoid rush hour, and follow the signs to Wisconsin - don't get off the highway, don't pass go, don't collect $200.

End soapbox.

It took me 3 1/2 hours once to get from the WI border to the entrance toll to the IN tollroad - approx. 60'ish miles due to construction and traffic - ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

I almost got off the road, found a hotel and chalked it up for the day. That is the worst time I've EVER had driving through Chicago.

Oohhhhhh....I suppose only about 5 minutes. Through a couple of lights. Once the folks behind me realized I wasn't jsut trying to be an ass, they helped me.

Oh yeah, I was fine. Just some bruised pride. NBD. I noticed that once I got going, the people behind me then got stuck, too. It must have just been a bad spot.

I completely understand road rage. I work about 1.5 miles from the expressway. It has taken me over 40 minutes to get TO the expressway before. Someone needs to invent a teleport pronto.
