  • Personally I don't drink milk, but FI does. Not sure about the kids, cause we don't have them yet, so I haven't had to think about it. I will say that my brother was allergic to cow's milk as a baby. He could drink goat's milk, though. But he grew out of it.

  • As a kid, I drank skim milk - organic, and no hormones.  As an adult, I drink unsweetened - soy, rice, and almond milk, and take multivitamins.

  • I drink milk a) because I like it and like it in cereal and b) for the protein, so I don't drink the almond milk. I got all excited about it, then saw it had 1/4 of the protein of regular milk.

I go through at minimum 1/2 gallon a week on my own, plus milk products (cheese, yogurt, etc).

So hormones in milk started after I was out of college.

I had quite a few cavities in my back teeth as a kid - elementary school, junior high, but have had maybe 2 since then. Including a 7 year period of no dental visits (1 cracked tooth that had a filling and 1 cavity). J has a cavity almost every time he goes. I think my parents' generation have trouble with their teeth because fluoridation wasn't common in water - certainly not in WV, where my dad is from.

I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
