Need help find a Western Washington Woodsy Venue

I am newly engaged and on the hunt for the perfect wedding venue, as is all the other well deserved bride to be's.

I love in Washington state and I have always wanted a woodsy backdrop for my wedding. I have been on the hunt for a while and I haven't found many places, so I am reaching out to anyone who has recommendations for venues in Western Washington, with a woodsy feel.

Any help is appreciated,
Thank you
Alisia

  • What is your budget for venue?  Do you prefer north or south sound?

  • I'm trying to keep the venue under $3.000.
I prefer North of the sound, but at this rate, I'll aceept ideas for anything lol
  • Whidbey Island state parks.

    Greenbank farm? Not so Woodsy

Look into different park and rec websites.

Crystal Mountain more mountain meadow than the woods.

  • I got married at Tazer Valley Farm in Stanwood, http://tazervalleyfarm.com/

It's a little more rustic than woodsy, but you get the venue from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm.

I looked at Beau Lodge in Bow, WA (further North than Stanwood, and about $1,000 cheaper). http://www.beaulodge.com/

It is definitely woodsy.  I didn't end up booking it because we were having a May wedding, and the indoor space was not big enough for my guest list if it rained (and it did).

  • We looked at Graham visitors center in the Washington Park Arboretum.  It is beautiful and the price is also right.
  • Kitsap Memorial State park outside Poulsbo
  • how about the ymca camp in shelton, called camp bishop? it's a really inexpensive venue with a gorgeous backdrop overlooking the lake and woods? my best friend is getting married there in april, and I think she's paying like $700 for the whole weekend
