Ring Bearer Gift Ideas

So we're having a little trouble trying to figure out what kind of gift to get the ring bearer. For the flower girl we got cute teddy bears dressed up as a bride and groom. Does anyone have suggetions or could tell us what you bought your ring bearer?

TIA

Re: Ring Bearer Gift Ideas

  • How old is the ring bearer? What is he into?
  • Your gifts don't have to be wedding themed.  What would you buy the ring bearer if it was his birthday?

  • Depends on his age, but I agree with pp. Gifts don't and sometimes shouldn't be wedding related.

  • I'd avoid wedding - themed gifts for any wp member except maybe young girl-girls.  Instead, I'd ask his parents what sort of stuff he likes.
  • That's what my fiance said but I thought it would be cute to do something wedding themed...but maybe he won't appreciate it! Harry is 5 and very high spirited! Thanks everyone for the input.
  • Our RB was DH's nephew. I actually put DH "in charge" of his gift. He actually just took him to Toys R Us one day and let him pick something that was like $10 and then took him to lunch. RB loves this kind of thing, because even though he's 9 (Was 8 at the time), he always has a blast just getting to have "guy time" with his uncle.

  • You will think it will be cute to do a lot of things that are wedding-related...but no one else will.  Just keep that in mind for everyone's gifts.
