Do you own any designer things, (purses, shoes, jewelry, etc)? How did you get into them? Did you get anything designer for your wedding?

I pretty much only carry Coach bags and I have 8 of them. I love Coach and find their quality is amazing and the styles are pretty timeless. I also usually only purchase about 2 purses a year where some of my friends will easily drop 50 on a new purse every month.

I've had a few pairs of Manolo Blahnik shoes in the past and while they were gorgeous I found that they didn't last much longer than a pair of shoes at Aldo. But I'm also pretty rough on my shoes so I try not to spend too much money there. Usually about $75 is my limit.

I'm not sure if Mori Lee is considered a designer dress, but other wise I didn't end up getting anything designer for my wedding.

My FI is a MUCH better dresser than I am! He's got the designer closet, not me. I do love a good Coach purse, but I don't own many. My usual "labels" are JCrew and Loft.

I do own some designer things, mostly jewelry & bags. Some of it was received as gifts, some I bought myself. I am buying my sister a ring from Tiffany as a gift for my wedding, she is my MOH. Other than that, I don't think I have any other designer names making an appearance the wedding.

I own one Coach purse that I bought about a year and a half ago at a Coach outlet for $40. I haven't bought a purse since, so it's an understatement to say it needs a good cleaning.

Nothing designer for my wedding though. We are going more towards the informal side of the spectrum so there wasn't really any need.

I'm really hard on shoes and bags and I tend to get bored quickly with clothes, so I try not to spend a lot of money on them. I like cute but inexpensive (Target is pretty much a godsend for me:) ). I do have 2 coach purses that I bought a few years ago and a louis vuitton that was my grandma's. I alos have a Bulova watch....but I'm not sure if that's necessarily "designer".

We're not doing anything designer at the wedding....we're on a budget and so is the entire WP.

I own three Coach purses, a Chanel purse that I found at a lovely vintage boutique and a Louis Vuitton that I bought myself as a university graduation present with all the tip money I saved since I was 16. For jewelry I have two Tiffany bracelets that were both gifts.

I have a couple coach bags, one an ex bought but hey ill still use it, one my sister bought me and two i bought myself from the outlet stores!

Other than that i dont really own anything designer nor have i bought anything designer for my wedding except maybe my dress?? which is a Sottero Midgley, but like a pp said, not sure if that is considered designer.

My eye glasses are Gucci...thats about the only thing. I rarely ever wear them though because I like my contacts. Other than that I'm not too big on name brands.

I have two Coach bags and a wallet (one bag and the wallet were gifts). I don't own any other designer things though - my wedding dress is a Maggie Sottero, but I'm not sure if that counts.

My typical "labels" are Banana, J Crew, and Limited for work.

I never understood the big deal about Coach. Then I went into the outlet store to see what it was about. Two years later I have 3 purses and a wallet. Love it. I wear mostly Loft clothes or dresses from JCPenney. Both those stores fit me well.

I think the only "designer" thing I have is my old eyeglasses are Coach, and I still only consider those something of mine because I just switched last week.

I own a few Dooney & Bourke bags, all that FI bought me. But they are all the cute ones (LOVE my Disney D&B bags and want more). Love that they last forever.

Other than that... yea, nothing really designer.

This! I could give a rip about what brand my clothes or shoes are, but I have a huge weakness for designer eyeglasses. Right now my regular pair is Prada and my prescription sunglasses are DKNY. I wear them every day, so that's how I justify it to myself, LOL.

My eyeglasses that I rarely wear are Vera Wang, but I didn't pick them because of the name at all. I just liked them. I have a kimono shirt and a little dress that are BCBG that I bought yeeaaarrrs ago. But that's it. There are labels that I love and really admire, but would never buy unless I had a much bigger income. I'm pretty much a jeans/t-shirt girl.

Aside from my dress being Mori Lee (like Achi, I don't know if that counts), not doing anything designer for the wedding. I prefer the vintage, handmade look.

I have a lot of coach purses (I have to stay away from the outlets!!) and two wristlets. That's about it.

Wedding is cheap, but my dress is Maggie Sottero if that counts. My engagement ring is a Simon G.

I'm not really into designer labels...

The only "designer" thing that I have is a Michael Kors dress (that I got at Marshalls LOL!).

Banana Republic and The Limited are usually my go-to labels

My wedding dress isn't a couture label either, it's Augusta Jones.

I love Coach and Ugg. I have about 8 purses and a couple wallets. I have about 11 pairs of Uggs. Most of my Uggs are wedges/sandals. I only have one pair of boots. I also have a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses that I love.

For the wedding I have a pair of light blue Ugg wedges and a blue Coach purse that I amy use.

Mind you that I did not have any of these things before FI. He is the one who got me into all of this. Now, its a bad day when I get the Coach outlet emails because I want everything.

I am in love with Coach, I have a bunch of Coach purses, maybe 10-12, and two Coach wallets. Two pairs of Coach eyeglasses, and one pair of D&G eyeglasses. I just love the quality of Coach. Not only that but they have a lifetime waranty. I sent a purse back that the straps were "bending" in the middle, they didnt have a replacement they asked if I wanted something different and I really didnt b/c it was my first Coach I bought, so they sent my original purse back with a $249 gift certificate. Ummm hello, thats AWESOME!!!

I really wanted a pair of Coach wedges for my wedding, but I havent found any I LOVE ....YET!

Still have some time.

FI and I only buy Costa Del Mar sunglasses, if that counts - he has 2 pairs, and I have 3.

I could care less about clothes and shoes, as long as it fits well, its sold.

I didn't own any Coach until early last year, when I bought a wristlet that I LOVED at the outlet. It was stolen when FI and I were in Cancun this past October. For Christmas, he bought me a new Coach wristlet that I love even more (plus, it's purple, my fave!) and a new "every day" black purse. I took advantage of the after Christmas sales and bought another brown/gold Coach bag as well.

My usual "labels" for clothing are Banana, NY & Company, and Loft. I also love Nine West shoes, their kitten-heeled pumps are the perfect height to wear all day around a school building.

No designer anything for me. I am a jeans and t shirt kinda girl. When I do get 'nicer' things they are from JC Penney or Target- but the closest Target to me is over an hour a way so I don't go their often.

When I was growing up and my parents bought my clothes my dad didn't want us to have anyting that had any thing written on it that was a brand because he said we were giving them free advertising.

My dress is Maggie Soterro but like PP have said, I don;t know if that counts.

OO I forgot about my Uggs. I have maybe 6 pairs. I only ever buy them on sale or at Winners (the Canadian equivalent of Marshalls and TJ MAXX). FI bought me my first pair about 7 years ago and I got hooked after that.

Like PP, I have a few Coach bags that I love, but I'll only buy them from the outlets. I also wear Coach eyeglasses. I also have a few pairs of Uggs. They are some of the best shoes I own! Nothing designer for the wedding though.

first let me say target and old navy are my favorite stores for clothes! in case after reading this you thing i am a label junkie....lol

BUT i do own way too many designer things to list coach, uggs, bandolino, tiffany, tahari, missoni, franco sarto, seychelle, stuart weitzman etc ect the list goes on and on< alot of mid range price shoe designers ( nothing as extravagant as prada/ jimmy choo i cant afford that).... i have a shoe obsession /> --- not very high end designers but designer label none the less! i get alot of my "designer" things at stores like marshalls/ tj maxx and i have also gotten alot as presents! and my engagment ring is tacori and so is my band. my dress is allure < i guess thats considered designer >

I own a Coach bag and change purse and I have 2 pairs of Tiffany earrings and a Guess watch. I can't really think of anything else off the top of my head. I absolutely hate carrying a purse and more often than not I carry a Vera Bradley bag. I have quite of few of them.

I'm a long sleeve tee shirt and jeans kind of girl, so I usually wear Old Navy/Gap/Eddie Bauer tees and American Eagle jeans. I've been rocking my L.L.Bean flip flops this summer as well. I like what I like and I rarely stray from that (FI is the same way). When I find a shirt I like, I usually get it in multiple colors. Even for work I always wear the same scrub style (Koi, cargo). I wear Koi cargo style scrub pants ONLY because they have an elastic waste and a draw string. I have no butt and there is the least possible chance of having my pants slide down to an inappropriate level with them!

My wedding dress is Maggie Sottero, though, so like everyone else said, I'm not sure if that counts. My dress for my shower is Evan Picone, so I don't know if that counts either (I had never heard of that, but my mother had)

Ihave a lot of Coach wallets and purses, one Dooney and Burke and 2 Tiffany bracelets. I'm a huge purse snob and will only carry Coach. FI gets me a new purse and wallet every year. Love them!

I love anything designer, I'm just too cheap to actually pay for it! I have several Coach bags, Coach sunglasses, and a few pieces of jewelry from Tiffany's, but that's about it.

My wedding dress is made by Birnbaum and Bullock, but I don't know if its considered designer compared to Vera Wang, Pnina, or Lazaro. All I know is that I love it, and can't wait to wear it!

I REALLY wanted to get a pair of Christian Louboutin's for the wedding, but just couldn't justify their price. I ended up with a beautiful pair of pumps that only cost me $60. I'll get married just fine even if my shoes don't have red soles

Is Fossil considered a designer brand? If so, I own a couple pairs of Fossil Sunglasses. Other than that, my Wedding Dress I purchased is made by Mori Lee, if she is considered designer. I buy alot of my clothing at Kohls, whatever fits and looks good, lol.
