  You guys! I got mod powers, like, 6 hours ago, and I DIDN'T post about it. At the time, I didn't think much of it, but now I'm realizing what an amazing feat I achieved by simply not posting.

  On bed rest since Groundhog's Day and every day since has been exactly the same.

  Yeah, I gather that I don't refresh the etiquette page enough. I generally just keep threads I'm interested in open (given that there's no easy way to track them in this system that I have discovered), thus don't return to the main page frequently.
  
  Also, I'm currently in the process of kicking my PhD's ass, thus I haven't spent a lot of time on here over the past few days.

  That is true, but given that I've probably written a total of 50 pages (and maybe 25 of those are currently resembling something that is likely to make the final cut, the rest require re-working) out of the 200 or so that the thesis will need to be, I'm afraid that I'll be sacrificing pleasure for a long while to come! :P
