I know other people (like Tt) need vibes more than I do. But if you have any spares, DH has an interview scheduled from noon to 3:00 today. He went to an alumni event Thursday and met a guy who is looking to hire two recent grads from DH's master's program. DH sent his resume Friday a.m., and within an hour the guy had called to schedule an interview for today.
This is exactly what DH has been looking for: it's in his field, it's for a large bank, it doesn't require us to relocate (which all of the Wall Street jobs would), they're looking for a master's, and since they're looking for recent grads, for once he's not competing with laid-off bankers with 10+ years of experience.
DH has been trying not to get discouraged over the state of the job market, particularly in his industry, so it would be really great if this worked out. If you have any good interview/good offer vibes to spare, I'll give them a good home.
