I got the worst manicure ever yesterday. I guess I can't complain because they cost $8 here, but really? I could have done a better job. I'm going to have to take off the polish when I get home.

    All of my work pants are too big on me now since I lost 10 lbs and I can't justify spending money on clothes right now with all of the wedding expenses but I really need them.  FMIL gave me a GC to marshalls for my bday but I want to save it for HM clothes :)

    Oh and now I can't stop researching baby names.

    This day is flying by.  It's my first day back this week after working at home while being sick.  Everyone stops me and asks how I am feeling.  While I appreciate the sentiment, I have work to catch up and they corner me in my cube and slow me down.  Talking about my z-pack is really not that interesting people!! Go away.

    I'm so sick of the same 2 people talking about their grandkids as if they were the only 2 children to ever have been born.

    I hate this too. I work next to the single most OBNOXIOUS woman on the face of the whole freaking planet and she tries to be friends and talk to me and I can't stand her. I make it so obvious but she still tries. She brought me flowers from her garden on Monday. Puke. I am so mean.

    I am dealing with car issues.  About 4 months ago I had my car serviced at a Good year... new brakes, alignment, etc.  Well when we picked the car up i thought it was driving funny and it lasted so we took it back and was reassured everything was fine.  It was jsut getting older.  Well I took it to my Honda dealership yesterday for an oil change and got a call in the afternoon stating that my car had NO brakes.... the rear ones were put on upside down and backwards and the front ones a crucial piece was missing they had melted.  The Honda dealership was horrified and concerned that I had even been driving the vehicle.  So 1500 later i have a car that is fixed from the damage and another set of new brakes within 4 months.  The kicker the Good year Dealship closed 4 weeks ago..... And today is the 99 day mark to my wedding. UGH!

    I hate going to the gym and seeing girls with a full on makeup, skinny as eff, hoop earings, and the tightest skimpiest outfits. CLEARLY, you are not there to workout. I am in my sweatpants, a hat, and sweating like a pig and I have to walk in to you taking up space and pretending to use the machine I need to be on to lose some weight. Thanks.

    I bought these totally awesome Sperry boat shoes on Saturday. It's the third day I've worn them and they hurt my feet. I'm wondering how long I'll go before they either 'break in' or I give up.

    HAHAHAHA. I am so glad I started this thread.

    Hmm. Dinner. Fiance will be at work till probably tomorrow night (again) so I'm on my own (again). Will probably end up drinking some wine and then deciding I need mac & cheese. That's typically what happens when I'm not busy.

    After the gym, of course. Because that makes it all better.

    I like this thread.

    I made an incredible shredded chicken, cheddar, broccoli, and brown rice casserole last night. It made a LOT so we are having the leftovers for dinner tonight. mmmmm.

    I am freaking out about buying a house. We are absolutely torn between two different budgets right now: buying our absolute dream home for more money than feels comfortable, or spending so little on the home that we could pay the whole thing off in 10 years, but not be as happy with the home. Hm. that is kind of deep for a "random thoughts" thread, but I keep looking at listings and crunching numbers and making lists of houses I still want to see and I can't stop obsessing. 

    I am also tired of dealing with Plaintiffs who are so desperate for money that they will sue anyone. I have to take a deposition next week of a lady who was running after her kid in a church parking lot and slipped on some ice and is now suing the church, the landlord, the business who was renting out the church...UGH. I love what I do, but sometimes, the whole process starts to bug me.   When I fall down, I just look around to make sure no one is looking at me and laughing, I don't look around to figure out who all I can sue.

    mbody! I don't think I've seen you THAT often around here (although I recall seeing your picture in some posts, because you're adorable with your fiance). But I recently bought some Sperrys and they take a few days to get broken in. But once you do break them in, they are SO comfy. :) You will not want to take them off. In fact, I wore them all day at work yesterday with my suit (not kidding).

    What kind of Mac and Cheese?  Velveeta shells or the box with the scrumptious powdered cheese.  Lol my go to is spiral kraft mac and cheese.

    Absolutely Velveeta Shells & Cheese. Although they only sell that at CVS which is one block farther from my apartment than Duane Reade, so I may end up with Kraft tonight. If I'm feeling especially spunky, maybe I'll walk the extra block to CVS.

    mbody I have absolutely seen you on other boards and noticed your cuteness, but haven't seen you on here!!

    I have 3 pairs of sperrys and I LOVE THEM. I never take them off.

    I will admit, I bought a new pair of Sperry flats and unfortunately, they do not break in as quick as my regular leather sperry's.  The flats actually rubbed the back of my feet and hurt reallllly bad. I am worried about them. But the regular Sperry's are A+.

    velveeta mac and cheese = heaven in my mouth.  When I am hungover sometimes I crave the crap powder stuff.

    Thanks for the nice compliment! He's being a goof in the pic and I thought it was funny. I always forget about the month board, but I'm going to come around more often. :)  Are there a lot of 'regs' on this board?

    Glad to see that I am not the only one.  And people who talk about their kids non-stop make me cringe.  There is a guy here who has 2 college-aged daughters and calls them all the time.  When he's on a personal call, he speaks really softly but when it's a business call, he practically yells into the phone, as if to say "LOOK AT ME!! I'M DOING WORK!!"

    HAHAH Thanks :)  But I mean really its the worst when you are really excited for something and then.. it sucks :(  BOO   This is why I never change my desert order at restaurants I am use to or my ben and jerry's flavor.. because if it sucks you are stuck!

    That is too adorable. I have boring leather ones, but seriously, HEAVEN. You will love them in short order. I am thinking about buying some cute ones. Now I'm going to go look on the website. . . .

    And yes, there are a bunch of us here that post regularly. We're more active on the weekdays than the weekends, though. Come hang out here more often!

    bfj, you PMed me about where you and your FI are honeymooning. I totally checked it out too! We're going to Sandals LaToc and I'm a bit weery of the reviews and how expensive it is. I haven't made any changes to the plans yet, but still thinking about it.

    Here are my new sperrys. When I bought them I was totally thinking, 'These will be great for the HM- like on the plane' Haha!
