Why is it that this seems to be the only board that girls aren't complete B's on.  I flame the ladies of other boards for being so rude. :(

Wendy - I got chills too... it was seriously so surreal.  I turned the car on, turned the radio on where I could hear it, and the song started.  I cried all the way through the song, and then called my grandmother.  I'm a sap.

Lacey - Thanks for the empathy.  :)  You're very sweet.

You know, I used to feel that way about the other boards... don't get me wrong, they can be more vicious than this one, but they're international boards.  They are also FAR more lax than this one.  I mod 3 boards, and 2 are international.  I struggled with it at first, but I can now embrace the other boards and the "regs" on them.  They cross the line sometimes, but they all mean well.  :)

I think the thing that sent me off the edge was being called a moronic b**** in a PM because one of my plans for venue included using non-secular music in a chapel. (Not a church, nor does it have any religious markings... It's just a chapel with pews, altar, etc)

I have nothing to flame today, but flame me for being sappy if you want.

I have been married for nearly 5 months but I just can't bring myself to leave this board. Logging in this morning and seeing everyone volunteering to help Brianna (I would so help too, but will be out of town!) and then coming in here and seeing everyone's comments - I mean, really, why would you leave?

    /sappiness

I take it back though, I do flame the fact that I only have 1 TK facebook friend - anyone else want to be friends?

ETA: http://www.facebook.com/leslie.rice - just in case you do want to be friends. :)

I flame the guy in our apartment complex who lets his kids run around in the parking lot with no supervision (and these are children under ten!) on the OTHER side of the complex from where you live and also drives like a maniac the WRONG way!

It's hard for me to be a flamer today though because I am so excited about the planning of our honeymoon starting!

Girl, I completely understand!  I'm so overwhelmed by everyone's outpour of love and willingness to help.  I feel inaduquate to get such love from everyone!  I also feel horrible about asking anyone to actually help.  :)  I'm bad at accepting help.

When people offer to help, you should take them up on it... not just talking about wedding stuff, but in life in general.  Most offers to help are genuine (and you can easily spot those "I'm just being nice and offering" ones anyway).  It makes the helper feel really good about helping you, and you feel really good because you got some help when you needed it... it's just an all around winning situation.  Think about that next time you start to turn down someone's assistance on something, and don't feel bad about accepting! :)

I know, I know.  This is a huge downfall of mine.  I over commit and then can't ask for/accept help very well.  But I am going to in this situation... because I just feel like the whole day/plan/money will suffer if I don't.   Thanks for the good vibes.  :)
