Morning ladies. I'm sleepy today. I have not been sleeping well at all this week, not sure what that's about. 

I narrowed my e-pics down to 2 now & emailed the graphic designer to see if she could put our images on 2 of the designs she came up with for our STDs so we can make a decision. Hopefully I hear back from her today. I'm still holding out hope that I'll get my STDs out before leaving for vacation! 

I'm going for an MRI tonight (finally) from when I had that migraine a few weeks ago.

What's up with you all today?

    I'm in a good mood today. It's kinda nice, especially because it looks like today's going to be a crazy day AND I have to deal with a FOLFOX administration, which is a pain in the ass. Also one of my coworkers brought me a chai from Starbucks because she says I was a huge help to her yesterday. So tasteehhhh~.

    Last night was a cute dog night. The dogs now enjoy playing together as long as we close Freya out of the bedroom so she can't run and hide (she's an antisocial little beast). They run circles around the couch after Tyler or I throw the kong. When Freya runs, the tip of her full ear bounces and it's cute like whoa. Such good little dogs :D.

    Tonight, Tyler and I are going out to dinner because a few restaurants in East Nashville are having benefits for the YMCA where I go to work out. Om nom noming Mexican food sounds like a fabulous idea.

    meh.  my grandma (the one who was married to my grandpa who passed away in July) is not doing well at all.  the cancer has spread everywhere, she hardly eats, and is mostly daydreaming all the time.  it really sucks.  I guess we'll be making a trip back out to TN soon.

    still waiting to hear about little Baxter.  she's picking him up this weekend, so we'll know soon.  I'm antsy.

    I feel like just going to bed after work, but I have a couple hours of music lessons to teach and then I have to clean the house.  my MOH is coming to stay Friday night and I don't want the house to be a pigsty.

    what DOESN'T she have?  breast, lung, throat, bone, kidney or liver (I forget which one).  in July, her doctor gave her 1-3 months to live.  they got a second opinion on the timeline, because my uncle is a trucker and isn't able to get on the road, and he said up to 9 months, but she's hardly eating and can't even stand anymore.

I was just wondering if, since she's in Tennessee, we had anything we could offer her since we deal solely in refractory malignancies that have mets anywhere. We get all of the 'we have nothing else to offer you and you have under six months to live' patients.

    thanks Still.  we're just in the awful waiting period right now.  they are just trying to keep her happy.  she's in a home in Cosby.  my uncle spends a lot of time with her.  it's just awfully sad, especially since we just lost my grandpa less than 2 months ago.

    Oh no coco. I'll be praying for you and your family. :(

    Today friends are arriving for the wedding. I work until 5 though. Why did I not take off any time prior to this wedding is beyond me. But FI is bringing his best man out to work so we can all eat lunch together at least. Then off to the nail salon with my mom and sister and writing out the last checks for paying for this thing. 
    Used to be bourgehm. +1,500 posts. Silly knot

    Ummm... Today I'm hoping to skype with my BFF and be able to see her and my little nephew. FI is painting his classroom/office tonight. I'm hoping to get out of that....
    Saturday one of my friends is coming down from Lansing (about hr away) and wants to hang out and talk wedding stuffs and do dinner... She is waaaaaay more gung ho about this than I am lol. I may just let her plan it all. :-P Then we are meeting up with some other friends for drinks. Sunday will be spent on my butt on the couch, playing video games :)

    Still- I'm not much of a dog person, but your dogs are so cute, they make me want like 3 or 4.  I think I could easily become a dog person versus a cat person, once I had a backyard. My cats are being a$$hats lately.

    RDR - good luck with the MRI. I've had a few because I'm a chronic fainter, but they never figured out what was wrong with me. Oh well.

    I just have to work for like 6 more hours, and then BF and I are gettin out of town! 5 hour road trip down to Bethany Beach, DE to stay at a beach house with his family for two nights, and then I need to find us a place to stay Saturday night, because I'm determined to be away from home for the whole weekend. Thinking about staying in/near AC, but I don't know how hard it will be to find a hotel. Should probably start searching now....
