Save the dates/invitations

Hey Girls---

I am going to be sending out save the dates in a couple months.  I am wanting to do magnets with our engagement pics on them.  Who have you guys used to do this?  I am looking for recommendations on a website or a stationary store in the K.C area that does a great job at a reasonable price.  In the same line I am also looking for a Co. to do my invites.  Any info would help.  Thanks so much :))

For magnets i know a lot of people used magnetstreet i think.  Its a website.  I can't help with invites b/c we printed are own.

However, when is ur wedding date?  You shouldn't send STD out until you are abt 6 months out.  Any sooner, and you may change ur mind about who you are going to invite (or your budget may change and you will need to cut people).  I, only sent out STD to family b/c they were the people i knew we would invite, and the ones that may not have heard we were engaged.

For magnets, you should check out Vistaprint.com.  That's the website we used for STD postcards and thank you notes, and I know several people that have done magnets as well.  If you sign up for their emails, you can get really big discounts on everything.

Invitations I printed myself as well.

And ditto dazed about waiting on STDs and making sure you send them to people you KNOW FOR SURE you want to invite.  By the time my wedding rolled around, there were definitely a couple people I wished I didn't have to invite, but I had already sent them STDs.
